I have to admit I was not super excited when these first came out from the styling perspective. But now looking at this one, it looks pretty sharp! I'm always a fan of saddle brown or cognac colored leathers in interiors. For some reason my wife is allergic to that color but I think it looks really smooth especially here.

If it is cold out, hybrids use the gas motor more, to provide heat for the cabin thus lower fuel economy. Too high MSRP for me.

Matt, I hope the combination of Toyota's attainable sales targets and consistently glowing reviews bode well for the future of the Crown Signia which is already outselling the Crown sedan. While gas mileage will certainly vary, winter blend gasoline and 21" wheels are not the best combination to achieve top results. I hope they give you a week in the summer with the Signia XLE on 19" rims so we can see the difference. 😁

As an owner I'll say that I was closer to the EPA numbers in October when I got it than now going through winter in MTL. You really need to be in the bottom section of "Eco" to get the best fuel economy.
I agree that it's a really unique vehicle tho, which is what I like. I think people might also cross shop it with the Mazda CX-50, but that isn't as unique, or as nice IMO

Matt, Great review I like this, you are right not everyone needs a "tough looking wagon" that they will never take off road anyway. Looks nice, interior looks good. Matt question When the car was being pushed and you felt the tires loose grip can you tell the all wheel drive kicked in? I have heard reviewers say the Toyota "E" (Electronic all wheel drive) has a huge delay sending power to the rear. As you know there is no mechanical drive shaft going to the rear wheels, so it depends on computer inputs to activate the rear motor to power the rear wheels. I am a traditionalist and like having a true mechanical connection. Anyway, Well done Toyota this is a sharp, well put together wagon. Seeing this almost makes me wonder why they even bothered with the regular Crown sedan, this is the one to get I feel.
