Great explanation. And the link to the manual that you listed in one of your replies in this thread, pretty much answers all of my questions. Thank you!
Hi, can you please explain how to connect the T10 sub I've just bought to the Eris 4.5's I've also just bought? I've been given 2 X 1/4" jack to jack cables. I've connected to them to the right and left TRS inputs on the E 4.5's and I've connected the other ends to the right and left TRS outputs on the sub, all I get is static and no bass, and if I connect them to the right and left outputs (the only other option), all I get is a slight hum and no bass. Have I been given the wrong cables? Should they be XLR (on the sub) to jack (on the E 4.5's) cables? There are no XLR inputs or outputs on the E 4.5's. Are these monitors and this sub even compatible, only I was told they are when I bought them.
I have two Hs8's and need a subwoofer to get a better low freq response, but I want the strongest sub I can find in this price range. Would the Temblor T10 be my best choice to connect them to receive powerful low ends?
I have been looking at the Eris E5, and I am wondering how they will work with this subwoofer. The satellites aren't very big, but I'm thinking if the sub takes over at around 80 Hz, then the satellites won't have to work with the deep bass and can play along the volumes the subwoofer can. In any case, it will fill out the sound better at the levels the satellites _can_ play at.
I just bought one of these and it came in yesterday. Can you do a video like what it says to do in the instructions, running the pink noise through your speakers and using a spl meter etc. If you already have one of those videos, please post the link.
What cord(s) would I need to hook a T10 up to my Ceres 4.5BT's? There's only 1 sub trs output on the 4.5 but the sub has a left and right. I'm confused
+ProddyMcRabies You have several different hookup options depending on the rest of your system and wether or not you're using a monitor controller like the Central Station. Click here for a hookup manual: www.presonus.com/downloads/products/pdf/Temblor_T10_QSG_29012015.pdf Thanks for your interest in the Temblor!
I hope someone reads my post. I already have a pair of Sceptre 6 and Eris E66. Love them. My Mixing has improved a lot. But Now I want to go an extra mile. I want to get the Temblor 10, obviously. But I'm trying to figure out the setup. I have a Studio 192 Mobile as interface, and a Monitor station 2 for monitoring from the main out of the interface. I know studio 192 has 3 outs but I like using those as returns for my compressor. So here are my doubts... How do I set my two pair of monitors with the sub? I know I could put the sub in the third out of the monitor station v2, and set the crossovers in both monitors and subs. But How about using the satellite option of the sub. I was thinking I could send the main out of the interface to the input of the sub, and the output from the sub to the main input of the monitor station and then split to both monitor pairs, plus I'll have an extra output. I don't know if it's a viable option. Or I should just stick with the first method. If someone, maybe a Presonus Fan boy like me lol, could help me out. thanks !
I want to connect pair of Sceptre S8 to Temblor T10 and then into Central Station PLUS... So does Planet Waves PW-GS-25 work with this setup? Thanks in advance!
i don't even own one of these subs yet so no worries. after doing some research I realized that my speakers actually capture almost all of the range except the bottom 20hz-40hz so I figured I would put my money into other equipment
***** nice work. interesting how you prefer standby mode. from what I hear is on the t8 with standby mode it takes 5 seconds to warm up and that was my main concern for I would be using for PC gaming. good research however
ABSOLUTEY FANTASTIC video! Dave you managed to explain everything very well and organized. You completely sold me on this sub. thank you!
+CoreyShiposh Glad to have you. :)
+PreSonus Audio Electronics I have a pair of Eris E8's. I am almost certain I am going to but one of these subs also. Great video. Thanks.
Check out Dave Bryce on the T10 Subwoofer!
Hi, i have a pair of Eris 5 and I would like to add them to the subwoofer. But I can not decide between T8 (cheaper) or T10 (more powerful)...

Just got the Eris 5" and love them. Will be getting this real soon to bring the thump!
General Benson Great! Thanks for choosing us!

If i have a pair of t10s can i set them up in a stereo config. or should i use the sub out?

Just ordered mine at Sweetwater today! They're going to marry great to my Sceptre S8's.
rightsideofhistory That's a GREAT match. Be careful not to shake the roof off of your studio!
hi,
how can i setup a crossover for subs for live setup using presonus studiolive 16 channels? :/
How does it compare to M-Audio's SBX 10 ?
I want to connect pair of Sceptre S8 to Temblor T10 and then into Central Station PLUS... So does Planet Waves PW-GS-25 work with this setup? Thanks in advance!
Luka Todović Yes, those cables should work just fine! :)
hey should I keep my sub on the floor, or put it on my desk near my other monitor speakers, but in the middle.
Since no one responded to you by now .. It's preferred on the floor on the left or right side of your speaker setup ..
i don't even own one of these subs yet so no worries. after doing some research I realized that my speakers actually capture almost all of the range except the bottom 20hz-40hz so I figured I would put my money into other equipment
does this one shut down after 10 mins of no use? thanks
+Will noneya Not sure. We'll look into it though.
***** im pretty sure they do

can i use a pair of these subs with 15 inch tannoy monitors?
+NLS Sure!
Well explained Video Dave thanks. T10 arriving soon. Great Subwoofer. Greetings Mike
Thank you I was not sure what the sub out was but now I know and I can buy the sub I want without buying extra gear. phew!! ;)
I love my presonus setup. eris 8's and a T10.
Lotus Jewel add an Eris E44 MTM as essentially a center....it will complete the full spectrum of frequency response
Well explained. Goot teacher. Thanks
