I've been using desktop version for a year and wanted to switch over to I-PAd. I was extremely dissapointed and confused at the lack of functionality. I couldn't imagine they'd deliver a product like this. Thanks for the help brother. Great useful info on these vids.

And the shortcut is command + alt + k
And to connect bluetouch tm to your iPad it’s just by Bluetooth

I made a transparent animated title on Resolve 19 studio desktop. Exported and can view from google drive. Yet when I try to get it into Resolve on iPad, the file does not work. This video just changed the game for me! I can build my title directly on the iPad if I need to. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Almost. There is one shortcut not available; switch to dual viewers. I suspect that will not be needed when the place the DUAL icon next to the INSPECTOR icon. It's present on the MacOS v18.

Now - I had some footage from my BMPCC OG in Camera Raw. Now the cut page does not know what to do with it and just puts in single frames - ugly at best. Now following your tip and using a short cut to the Media page. It imports perfectly and then shows up perfectly in the Cut page media. So using some of the hidden features of the Media page works nicely for expanding what you can do with this current version.

UPDATE. As Daniel replied, I was mistaken. His short cut trick does indeed work!!!!
I am using DaVinci Resolve 18.6 and I do not see a way to enter the shortcuts. Can you or someone confirm that doing the shortcuts this way will still work. Better yet, do an updated video showing exactly how you enter the shortcuts. Thanks!

Thank you! I followed your directions yesterday, and set up all the shortcuts. It worked perfectly. Today, they do not work. I checked and the shortcuts are still there, but nothing happens. Any ides?
I quit and restarted the app. Works again. Why is this hidden? I even paid the $95 for the Studio version, but this essential stuff is still buried?
Yeah sometimes you just have to restart the App. Why is it hidden? Because it is not official launched for the iPad Version. Has nothing to do with the Studio Version. I talk about that in alot of my Videos here on the Channel. Definitely watch the Q&A Series about DVR iPad.

I was hoping that if you use DaVinci on desktop with the usb key action you could at least use that but it doesn’t seem to do anything.
So this was a god send as I’m abroad and have to complete a project on my iPad as I generally have a Mac 🖥️ setup at the office.

Hi Daniel, your videos are SUPER helpful. This one in particular really helped me. I've recently brought a new iPad 10th Gen (not the Pro), and started using DVR for my UA-cam videos. I've been wondering how to get all the screens on the iPad version, and this naield it. The 'bug' is still active in 18.5 so I could unlock them all.
Moving from iMovie on the iPhone this had been a major learning curve, and I'm still learning. Your videos really help me, so thank you for doing them. Much appreciated. Keep them coming. :)

Because that does not work on the Cut Page. For that you need the Edit Page.

Yes this worked but the problem I’m facing is it’s goes back to default 2 pages when I close the app and open it again.
This happens to all of us. As the other pages are not officially launched, yet. I simply add them at the start of my session. The shortcuts do stay. So with a keyboard thats not really an issue.
Next Challenge - using the Apple USB C to AV adapter I can power the iPad and have a T7 SSD hooked up. I also can use the HDMI for a 2nd monitor - yes, I just did that. I even can use stage manager and not just mirror which it also does. Now how can we move a grading panel from Resolve to an external monitor in the iPad version? I have a battery powered field monitor that would be perfect to use to give us more real estate to work with. The panels seem locked in this version or are they? That is the next thing to figure out.
I remember a Shortcut option fir second screen edit. So i think there is something already baked in 😉

I'm on iPad Pro 16in 2022 and DaVinci wont open at all. Keep crashing right after boot up.

@@DanielKovacs my iOS is up to date. I was told by a friend this happened to him after he first installed it and I need to uninstall the app and reinstall it and it should work. Well that’s what worked for him.

This is very goo information. However, I often use CDNG files. As DaVinci does not support CDNG, my question is how can I colour grade all of my clips as the IPad version of resolve does not import the files like the desktop version.

U can’t because there are officialy not public yet. But you don’t have to give the shortcuts again. They stay. So you open the app and hit the shortcut and the pages are back… takes 1sec

Amazing work, thank you so much. I was able to unlock the full version using your technique however i am not able to add the sound library to the app yet despite following all the steps you described. I downloaded the Fusion Sound library but cannot add it to the application.
Hallo Daniel, bitte um Hilfe, durch dich bin ich auf Davinci fürs iPad gekommen und habe mit BT Tastatur bisher die Editpage usw freischalten können. Jetzt gab es das Update auf 19 und alles ist auf deutsch und ich finde den Punkt nicht mehr. Hast du da schon ne Lösung? Du würdest mir sehr damit helfen. Grüße Toni ✌️
