Ahh, the one about forever is made of nows of Emily Dickinson was AMAZING... And kinda terrifying, lol. I gotta go to bed and now I'm gonna be thinking forever on time and present, past and future and NOWs... @_@ And Pablo Neruda, a poet from my country, is SECOND! 😮😮 They forced me to read some of this stuff in school, but I've always detested the man behind the words, so I can't stand him and have never ever tried to go back to him again, out of my free will, lol. But I'm surprised to find him here, very surprised! And in English too! 😮 Lastly, the 1st place poem, the one about beiing haunted even if you're not a chamber, hit me in a really soft spot. OUCH! 😢 Anyways... Amazing job all through 2024, and through these videos. Playing cath up, these were amazing to see a short version of some of what I've missed, get a peek of yoour taste, and get a bit of a crash course introduction to poetry now that I'm trying to be back around your wonderful channel. 😊 THANK YOU and congrats on a job well done! ❤
PS: I forgot to add that I'm surprised at HOW MANY ADS I'VE GOTTEN THROUGH THIS VIDEO (and the previous ones as well)! 😮 I didn't remember your channels having ads and, certainly, not SO MANY on each video... 😮😮 It's so horrible, because they usually throw at me someone screaming about some stupid thing right when I'm deeply concentrated listening to you read one of the poems and BOOM, they make me jump and curse out loud, lol. They kill all the flow of the read!! And they put SO many ads on each video now! Just in this video, I got 3 at the beginning (2 unskippable ones too), at least 3 more throghout the video and 2 more at the end... In less than 30 minutes of video!! UA-cam is going mad, but the more ads they throw at me, the more they annoy me, and the more I refuse to pay for yet another subscription to be rid of them... UGH! But, seriously, I had forgotten that this insane bombardment of ads when I'm TRYING to watch a video was one of the reasons why I stated to take a break from UA-cam... 😢
