I look forward to more Cousin Eddie & Romano vids: it'll be a great way to break down basics for viewers who may also be wanting to get into airsoft! So proud to have been here since you barely had 10k subs.
It's so worth it to go hoodie and jeans and just ask them what protective gear and that's like 40 to 60 if you want gloves and you can probably rent like I do
Definitely go rent if you can man! Rent to try it and get into it. If you find yourself liking it, get some good eye pro. I personally use a JT Proflex, Valiant here uses a CRBN Zero, lot's of dudes use Dye i4's/i5's. After eye pro and footwear, you can focus on stuff like a first gun and a way to carry mags. The Action Army AAP-01 that is featured in this video is a fantastic pistol out of the box, it's only 100 bucks, takes all standard WE Glock internals and mags so plenty of aftermarket support, and it's super light and gas efficient. Magazines for it will cost more than the gun itself at about $25 for normal and $50 for extended. Or if you end up liking the rental AEG's, you can find a really good replica for around 200 bucks, grab some mags at about 15 each, and a couple batteries. You'll figure it all out as you go as to what YOU like and prefer, but the starting point is definitely renting and buying GOOD eye wear and foot wear.
i love the cuthulu. you should ask la papa costumes of you can do a new custom hicapa project or aapo1. another idea if your cousin wants to get into airsoft give that pistol or something to him. if not just do another video like that.
Awwww, its so nice seeing Eddie being wholesome as heck. Bring this homie more! Also how old are you Eddie, or do you just have naturally greyed hair at like (29-34)?
what are some weapons that aren't too expensive (under 130$) that you would recommend? i like playing airsoft but the weapons you get at that range aren't really so good so i wanted to buy one for myself
As Valiant said, the rentals are the ones in that price. You also have to consider magazines and power supply, whether gas or batteries. If it's strictly the gun then the AAP-01 featured in this video is in your range but you'd need mags and gas which would put it way out of your range. I would recommend saving up a little more until you can comfortably purchase a replica with mags, power source, BB's, and entry cost in mind. Your initial budget is going to be somewhere between $200-300 for a decent gun (better than rentals), mags, and power (batteries and charger). This is an initial cost that is going to depend on what you choose to use. Your fixed cost is going to be BB's and entry fees. You are always going to buy BB's and the entry fee is always going to be the same. If you want suggestions to what to look for, if you want an M4 platform I would recommend Specna Arms or Double Eagle, and if you want an AK look at Cyma. I wish you the best and hope you get to buy your first replica soon!
@@jeremiahmcarthur4410 leaky mags, not holding gas, gas not going into the mags (keeps spraying out) and when gas does get into the mags, sometimes it only lasts a couple shots
@@holyhellfireonblitz5208 I run high capa mags but I would imagine others are the same. Shake the bottle first & make sure you’re filling it vertically with the tip pointing down. The angle is important. Try to be as perpendicular as possible to the fill nozzle. If spray is coming out immediately try adjusting your angle. If the mags are leaking you may want to check all the seals. There’s a valve seal a nozzle seal & a seal around the base of the mag if you take the screw out of the bottom. Make sure all of these have 100% silicone oil on them. They can dry out if you leave your mags empty for long periods of time. The green gas has oil in it so it’s a good idea to not run your mags completely dry before you store them. Leave a little gas in them to keep all the seals lubed. They make a special tool to get the valve & nozzle out but you can do it with a small flat screwdriver if you are careful. It’s also best to buy original mags & not the aftermarket ones. Some of the cheap ones just won’t hold air no matter what you do. Good luck!
@@holyhellfireonblitz5208 I just read the label on my green gas can. It didn’t say to shake it 1st but it also didn’t say not to. I always shake it 1st. Haven’t had any issues. Also if you do a lot of rapid firing & try to fill immediately after the mag may be frozen due to the gas expansion. Let it warm up a bit before filling.
