Definitely the best review of this guitar I have seen. Lots of pertinent infos and demos and less gushing. Thanks for this, and btw, the odd little loops connect to the case strap to make a guitar strap, but I'm sure someone has pointed that out already!

Great review I watched others review this guitar but your really impressed me and I am considering buying one. Your playing was amazing TY for sharing.
Awesome! That guitar is surely better than the Epiphone DR-100 I was given. It was free cause it has a bad neck hump at the neck joint and has uneven frets I need to file down. Shame on you Epiphone cause I've seen many same complaints by a lot of people with the same model! A local luthier told me a lot of modern guitars suffer from issues like this because they don't let the wood age as long as they used to anymore, in order to just rush out product. I love the finish on this! It kinda reminds me of the Washburn AB series of acoustic/electric basses though, the built-in effects and other features like carbon fiber body set it above something like that. I just goes to show that modern budget instruments can easily rival and in some cases, even surpass expensive vintage gear from just a few decades ago. I would love to try that guitar with the Swiff Audio WS-50 wireless system I bought. Have you ever heard of it? I have had a really good experience with that system, I wound up buying 3 sets - _low, undetectable latency, no noise or interference, good range and unbroken signal from room to room, good battery life (approx 4 to 5 hrs. on one charge), relatively inexpensive (about $50 for a transmitter, receiver and double USB tipped charging cable for charging both units at the same time)._ The best parts are being able to pair more than one receiver unit to one transmitter. So, now I have an almost cable-free bass rig. One paired pair from my bass to my effects, my effects being the only things connected via quality patch cables, and then another transmitter from my effects paired to 2 receivers that I plug into 2 separate bass amps. Cuts down on a lot of noise and of course, the best thing is being free to move around without worrying about stepping on cables or snagging them on furniture. I just looked up this Enya guitar and it's caught my interest. I might be looking into it further. Thanks for the video, brother! Take it easy!
Those funny loop things you attach to the strap buttons actually get used with the travel bag strap, like a regular guitar strap. Pretty cool if you're stuck without a strap!

I own one. It´s pretty awesome only think that really disappointed me, was the strap. I love the idea of switching it between guitar and case, but mine didn´t even hold 5 Times of carrying and switching. I was lucky, mine broke right after i left the house. But would that happend 5 minutes later, while riding my bike. i guess than it was a nova go for the longest time. It´s cheap and i recommend you to but another strap on it. If you travel with it.
I love the idea off this. But one of the problems for the future is relying on other tech, eg the phone. If Apple/Android no longer support the app one day, the guitars effects are dead. Yes. I know this is also a problem for digital mixers etc. Some people may remember when mackie (and others) brought out mixers that you could dock an iphone3 in. This is a good example of relying on other tech for the longevity of another piece of tech (if that makes sense.).
I wonder if it'd fit in a regular size suitcase, a checked bag. I'm going into the Peace Corps and I'm thinking to sell my Ovation Baladeer that's been my baby for 40+ years just because of size.

Well, definitely they are compromising their standards. Mine just arrived in a plain cardboard box with tons of Enya packing tape. No fancy printed box. Also, the gig bag is just that, a soft blob and not the shell type shown. Kind of disappointed they are heading in that direction, but they all sorts of new styles coming out now with the fancy printed boxes and hardened gig bags. Last, the unique guitar strap used for the guitar or the gig bag is no longer there either. Instead there are two padded straps everyone is familiar with on the soft gig bags. I guess the fancy ones are just for those who will do a video for them.
Well can I ask if you got the electric version with the effects and built in speaker, or the cheaper non-electric version? Just curious if that could be the reason for the cheaper packaging and gig bag.
Are you in the U.S.? Did you buy it from a third party and not shipped from Amazon? Maybe it was used? I really don't know why there would a difference otherwise.
The acoustic only version is $161 for Prime members right now and the electric is $302, so I opted for the less expensive model. BUT, I am having some regrets. @@fern5580 Thanks. I just returned the acoustic only and got the electric acoustic. Well worth another $50-60 for me. Deal wasn't available in black so I got blue. Slightly prefer black but DEF prefer the electric. 👍
When unplugged, I could not hear any effects coming from the guitar itself. It does say on the Amazon page that the guitar has a small speaker inside and that you can use the effects that way, but I couldn't see any way to do that.
The effects are in the guitar, but you control them from the app on your phone. The guitar has an internal speaker, so you can use it with effects not plugged in. But of course you can also plug into something.
I know this video was 9 months ago but I am thinking about buying this guitar. I just wanted to know if there's a "hard rock" sound or "50s rock" sound, like a regular electric guitar. Not just an acoustic sound

Is the sound effects coming from the guitar only ?? I mean without any plugging to anywhere ?
I mean something like Transacoustic ??
When unplugged, I could not hear any effects coming from the guitar itself. It does say on the Amazon page that the guitar has a small speaker inside and that you can use the effects that way, but I couldn't see any way to do that.
There is a built in speaker yes 👍
@@thebaldshredder ok.. thanks for this information...
@@BobbyFireRadio okay.. I'm eager to watch a video including that sound...
I just bought one. The guitar is fine. I also downloaded the app, but it doesn’t have any of the effects you describe
Did you buy the electric one?
@@thebaldshredder Hi! Yes I did
@@thebaldshredder Hi! Yes sir, I did
The effects should be there. Play around with it.
Mine does not have overdrive effect. The effect sounds like bass guitar and i'm sad.
would you recommend it for learning as a beginner?
Yes
May I ask please, the effects - does it come from the guitar itself of does it need to be plugged in?
The effects are in the guitar, but you control them from the app on your phone. The guitar has an internal speaker, so you can use it with effects not plugged in. But of course you can also plug into something.
I know this video was 9 months ago but I am thinking about buying this guitar. I just wanted to know if there's a "hard rock" sound or "50s rock" sound, like a regular electric guitar. Not just an acoustic sound
Can you make this instrument sound like an electric guitar with pedal effects?
The strap is the same strap on the case. It hooks to the guitar.
That’s a pretty song …. What is that from 😊
I just made it up.
I'm sorry but I didn't hear any Reverb or delay when you were playing along with the backing track
Interesting. I can clearly hear it once the melody kicks in. It would sound super dry without it. Anyway, it's not meant to be swimming in reverb. Just enough to add to the ambiance.
