THANK YOU for sharing. this is fascinating!
Stunning simulated 3D texture on a 2D surface, thanks for all the advice!
Amazing!! You do such a fantastic job!!
Verry impressive One Man's Job. Thank you for sharing your experience!
Very nice Ron! You make it look easy...but it's very labor-intensive indeed.
The polisher is a great tool, not dealing with a plastic bag to polish by hand is a plus.
Great looking walls!❤
Beautifully done , thanks for your time and great job
Your skills are incredible..
🙏👏💪👊🔥🔥🔥 Top Man. I've been preying you would do a videos like this. As I want to go from boards to walls 😎🔥🔥🔥
gorgeous. great work!
Missed you bro. Love to see more of your stuff. I've learnt Load's off you. Gone and done course's, and all the way through, found easy. Because I already knew what I was doing. Thanks to your videos. And Giancarlo Sagasti, Exotic Wall finishes b👊✊💪🔥🔥🔥
Keep them coming Ron 🙏🔥🔥🔥
Awesome job!!
I can tell you’re a true tradesman. You’re weird and artsy and everything. Nice work brotha stay up 💪🏼
Pushing through job site distractions.. I feel your pain. . lol. Nice video! Well done red plaster!
You can’t always expect to have the site to yourself 🤷
Looks killer I can't wait to learn it and get a chance to do it .would love to to make incandescent marble green Jade .on a project .
Awesome video buddy 👌
Wonderful 👍
Very good
hi ,ron very interested in your videos would like to know what type of trowel you would use on a Venetian Hood vent I own a Kraft Chrome right now it's awful stiff though I do a good many of them they're usually in a white. thanks again for your videos man
Hi Ron, love your sessions, I learn a lot from you. Question, you mentioned a badger brush for the finishing on Tuscany gold faux paint. Is there another kind of brush that can be used instead? Where do I find the type of glaze that you used? I'm doing a faux paint in a wine cellar for a client of mine and she loves the Tuscany Gold that you did. I want it to match yours. Thank you for your time.
Great Vid Ron, Have a question for you. How would you Burnish a round object like a bowling bowl where the last coat is Grassillo? Would you use a stainless steel trowel or sandpaper? I'm looking for that mirror reflection. Thanks Buddy
Hi Ron , great one , pls pls pls if you can do video about Cararra Marble Effect Many thanks
Hi ron thanks ,great work what materials you use .thanks if you can share
Brilliant clip. Would have liked to see the burnish part but thanks
my building is in Frederick too when is next course!!!?
Sha-ZAMMM!!! Labor-intensive but man that looks so nice!
So that I understand the prep process, you primed over what I’m assuming was already-primed regular 1/2” drywall, primed with an awful contractor-grade coating? Or was the wall material not drywall? Regardless, that finish is spectacular!
Hi Ron Is primer a must or can you use PVA or both cheers Wayne
Trying to learn VP. When it comes to burnishing grasello, how long should I wait? I’ve seen pro’s do it right after the 2nd-3rd coat. Some say when the VP is 70-80% dry. Thanks
Bloody hell! (pun intended)...that is a LOT of work. I am seeing more of the matte finish with no sheen and some even with vertical texture looking really nice. Is that just getting the 2 coats without burnishing? Also, once it dries, it is still burnishable? Nice work!
I did Venetian plaster with valspar paint on my accent wall. How you don't have chronic tennis elbow blows my mind! I still have numb fingertips on my middle and ring finger. Is there any tips when burnishing? We also had big repairs to cover and some of the under patches still show through. Maybe another coat?
Practice makes perfect, you should of started out practicing on small plasterboards, venetian plaster cam be done at home but to get a finish like this requires experience/patience
Is that Phil Collins I hear playing in the background 👂👂👂???
For the third coat of plaster- Do you apply it and burnish Immediately or let it dry a bit first and then burnish? I tried to catch it in the video but it’s a little fast. Thanks so much in advance.
Thats what I was wondering, but I think you apply and burnish it in a thin coat. Lots of work!!
E’ sfuocato ! Ti saluto , gira la testa🙀🥶
As you lay on do you start with an open trowel and then start closing the trowel into the wall or just keep the same angle of the trowel as your laying on? Im a plasterer so was wanderi g if the technique is the same as im looking to get into this trade.
I am a finisher/painter and I would not be able to concentrate if you were ever on my job site! Smoking!!!
Ron every time I look for the spatula wax in the description, it always unavailable. Is there another place to get it?
It’s on back order we from Italy do to covid.
Do you lay on the first coat slightly thicker than the top coat?
Would look nicer with some decent lighting Ron , loving the vids, just getting up n running myself
And shots in focus.
Amazing finish.... the audio was out for a lot of the video but we get the idea... wanted to ask as I think I missed it- what trowel are you using to wax? I’m assuming it’s the smaller trowel you used to lay down the plaster?
Laura B. For some reason UA-cam has removed audio. I use a medium size trowel to apply and small to burnish
@@RonaldLayman thanks so much! Hate this damn technology sometimes... your work is truly amazing!!😍
Probably there is music in the back ground that has protection music rights. That's why no audio
I can imagine this in a soft taupe or ......anything!
Is this real lime based plaster or the acrylic type?
Where do you buy this
Ficou muito lindo , pena que ñ tem tradução.
Didn't get no audio towards the end of the video
What would I need to buy in order to add a different colour ?.
you order it from the company to the color you want
Do you have to rewax after a few years.? Amazing job.
No, it does not wear off
@@RonaldLayman Thank you so much, you may have just saved me from lockdown madness setting in.. ;)
