I’ve wanted one of these for a while. I’m in Michigan and can get a solid few months of use from this tool, especially on my back deck and walkways. Thanks for the video Vince, nice work!
Hi, I’m in Bartlett, TN This would be a great tool for the ladies who don’t have anyone to help them clear their driveways…so much better than manual labor.
Hey Vince. Thx for the information. I’m still using the good ole back breaking shovel. Snow is hit or miss here in VA with snow expected tomorrow. Blah!
I've used an older corded model of that before. Granted it's been on a small deck, but more so a limestone driveway until it was paved. The light weight made it easy to hold up and not pick up lots of rocks.
Good review Vince , tried this last year but wasn't happy with it a lot of driveway and sidewalk to clear and can only direct the snow to one direction don't really like throwing it to the neighbors too but had good power and battery life
Yeah, big driveways might not be the best for this. I angled mine to shoot to the side which seemed to work on my side walk. What did you end up using then?
@@RootedLawnCo I actually bought a single stage Ariens needed something plastic like gentle for the new pavers in driveway last year that's why I tried the toro first it was plasticky lol
Hey Vince, Watching your video all the way from Thunder Bay, Ontario. I currently own this snow shovel. It’s been a really nice convenience to have around. We are getting lots of snowstorms here this winter, so it’s a pretty good piece of equipment to have. However, it is pretty expensive at $510 CAD (after taxes) here, especially when a snow shovel costs between $20-30 CAD, but I am grateful to be able to afford it. I would like to request a video of a Toro 26” e60V snowblower in action. I’ve been eyeing it for a few weeks now. Thanks and all the best in 2022!
Thank you for watching! That is expensive but it’s worth it for sure. I would love to make a video on that, although getting that piece of equipment might be a challenge. But if I can, I’ll make one.
My go to 4 snow removal that wood be my plow truck but 4 places my plow can't get to that snow shovel is just right 4 small walk ways and decks I will get one 4 sure
do you still have that power shovel? can it be used to clear snow piled up around a fire hydrant like in this video? ua-cam.com/video/re-7PH-2mTU/v-deo.html
@@RootedLawnCo do you know of anyone who has tried it? the reason I ask is I've seen lots of snow covered fire hydrant videos on youtube, and in all of them, no one uses power equipment to clear the snow around a fire hydrant. they still do it the same way it was done 100 years ago, manually with a shovel. I just find that curious and wonder why that is.
@@RootedLawnCo no, I'm not going to be the first. I'm thinking about buying one for a retired disabled fireman who now goes around shoveling out fire hydrants. ua-cam.com/video/A4S64lP88xA/v-deo.html but I don't want to buy one before I know if it can do the job. I sent an email to Toro asking them and they told me to ask a Toro dealer. So I asked two Toro dealers and they both said "I don't know, we never tried it" hahahahaha
I got the bungee "good vibrations" zero gravity shoulder strap. It doesn't hold it off the ground but I can use my shoulders to pull the weight backwards - instead of having to lift it. I did some modifications to the strap - I did a "short" upload.
That shovel looks like a beast. It’s amazing how much snow it throws.
Yeah, she throws real good!
Thought there were supply issues? LOL

Yeah us East coasters have a big one coming at us. How many inches are they calling for where you are? Our forecast keeps changing by the hour haha
@@RootedLawnCo Last I checked it was 1-3”…I’m hoping we get nothing.

I love this machine! It really launches it. Great review bro!
Makes some good lawn stripes too 😎
Heck, it's worth getting one just watching poochie having fun....lol
Hello, using a Kobalt 40 volt power shovel, it's great.

I have the corded version too. It is much smaller and lighter than the newer ones but it’s also bigger. Both fun to use tho! Thanks for watching!

Good video! I’ve been wanting one of these things for awhile.
Thanks! Yeah it’s a fun tool to have.
Wow, makes things so much easier
And more fun!
I’d love to have me one of those! Not in budget right now…
Yeah, add it to the list for next year! Step up your snow lawn stripes 😂
those are great .. just need wheel s with tilt to ground imo
Wish you would have actually showed the handle and if it actually extends. Send it to me and ill do a full review for ya and the tall people. Ty
awesome stuff
I just bought one too recently ..

I do. That would be a great option for clearing snow. As long as it doesn’t get frozen over.

@@mrbubetube I’m not sure. You can be the first! These are pretty new machines so not many people know about them. Certainly beats shoveling.

I have the old corded one and its heavy and not good on heavy wet snow. Is this heavy? and does it work on heavy wet snow?
Sadly the snow direction can't be changed by throwing it to the left or right. My Earthwise does this and is much better then Toro.
Cool stuff
Needs adjustable handle. I'm 6'1 and it hurts my back from bending over and it's hard to push (heavy).
