Yes . I didn’t like UFD at the first. This need a lot of water. When you get the right ratio and you put the I create hold you get a amazing wash n go. I apply both products in the shower.
Uncle funkys . I wish they never got rid of de funk that was my fav. I used to get compliments from strangers about how good I smelled 🤣 when I had it in my hair. I like good hair too. Thanks for sharing.

Your hair looks great. I always apply UFD in the shower. The trick is trapping the water and product to water ratio. I also top UFD with Obia Naturals custard or Jello Shot. I haven't topped it with ICH in a while because this Florida heat and humidity wasn't playing nice☹️.
Honestly I wasn’t a big fan of UFD until now, I’ve tried it a few times and liked it but applying in the shower REALLY just made me fall in love. You know I’m gonna try it with Jello Shot next lol! Hopefully it’ll cool off down there soon ☺️
@@HeyKnottyGirl Good luck. I always use UFD as my base gel and never alone. I've even topped it with mousse, but I prefer a firmer hold. Either way my hair lasts between weekly washes.

Have u tried a mousse only w&g? I just did the doux (see what I did there lol) and it was great! Crazy hold before the cast breaks and on day 7 I still have definition and movement. I’m banding this thang to run to Walmart as we speak lol.
Lmao! I doux see what you did there 😉😂 so ummmmm. I did try a mousse only wash and go and girl!!! It was a fluffy mess!!! Idk what I did wrong. I just repurchased Mousse Def so im gonna have to try it again.

I’ve always stretched with heat, it usually shrinks back up though. What I loved about this combo, was how elongated my hair was prior to drying and stretching 🤗
@@HeyKnottyGirl ok thanks! Wasn’t sure if you used heat or banded it. My hair is disrespectful when it comes to shrinkage lol. I had hang time on day 1 and it turned into a tapered cut by day 2. I’m still experimenting🤣🤣
Oh SAME!!!!! I like banding, but I end up frizzing my hair up. So I’ll stretch on day 1, after that I usually tie a scarf around it and hope for the best the next morning

This is the very 1st combo used by my natural hair stylist for a wash and go. I had no idea my hair curled like that!
