Lovely, really enjoyed that, thanks. I showed this to the missus and she said "Isn't it amazing how the little ones manage to keep up with the big one!"
The magnificent Vulcan and the three smaller F-15s flying together in joy and friendship! Always gives me goosebumps to watch the ineffable mojo and beauty of these diverse yet related aircraft, created for death and destruction yet stunning beyond all others.
What a great video, thanks for sharing. Two aircraft types from different eras together and it shows just how big the Eagle is as a fighter. Such a stunning sky too. Seeing the Vulcan in formation with these F-15s gave me chills. Lovely stuff.
Guy Wilson: Thank you buddy your most kind, the day had very mixed blessings, we managed to dodge the showers luckly, compared to the airshows she was much higher with the Eagles, but LN is my local base and the '15 is my most favourite jet, so it had to be captured on video. Again many thanks :-)
You did a great job mate. Like you, the F-15 is also my favourite aircraft. I live near RAF Waddington so saw the Vulcans regularly growing up. Now I really need to get down to Lakenheath sometime before the USAF pull the Eagles out.
Guy Wilson: Oh the Eagles are going to be there for many years yet mate, don't believe to much what circulates. Again many thanks, if your on Facebook send me an email cambsflyer@googlemail.com and I'll exhange details, as I've hundreds of photographs which may be right up your street. I've been to the Wave a few times and know John fairly well, he's a oidl bloke, we do Mildenhall and CGY Too, as it sounds like your part of our crowd, so it'll be good to see another fellow snapper, and it's always very friendly at Lakenheath, so hopefully see you there in the near future :)
I was there on the day and it was a sight to behold. Thank you for sharing the video. But the Eagle going vertical takes some beating ! Love Lakenheath - always worth a visit.
Lovely old kite ,designed in the late forties by Avro , and helped with keeping of the peace all those years ago. But im afraid its the end of those days ,and lets hope their is not another war just jaw jaw to keep the peace .The last of the V bombers , Valiant ,Victor , and Vulcan .
I know the two types of aircraft are from different eras but looking at them flying together you know if they were on a bombing mission they would get through to the target and blow the crap out of the enemy. 🇺🇸 and 🇬🇧 together!
I remember standing behind an American at Bentwaters, when he caught his first ever sight of a Vulcan. (It may have been XL426 which is now at Southend)... What the hell is that ?, he exclaimed.
Lovely, really enjoyed that, thanks.

Back in the day, (1966-68), while stationed at RAF Mildenhall, I used to go to the Rod & Gun Club at Lakenheath to have one of the best steaks around.

Yes Chris from what I've heard and seen they love her too
one of my all time favourites the delta Vulcan, did you know the Victor had a bigger bomb bay ?
Doesn’t get much better than that.....
Great cloud formation
Thanks Dave :-)
The Bomber that nuked America, twice.
Great video
Americans and the British together is unstoppable...
So sad she’s not flying anymore

Uk were the best, never underestimate the British
Yet hey, vulcans still the best
Was that the camera making that noise or someone hitting a bottle with a stick
One of the traits of a DSLR
Bon travail....
I wonder if the Americans are as impressed with her as we all are?
ukchris64 ....yes we are.
ukchris64 Yes we are. Lovely lady.
You beat we are, I seems the American F-15's have the Vulcans back. But we always have and we always will.
Abso-bloody-lutely!

Vulcans always win, can out turn any fighter
No.
Would love to see an F-15 at East Fortune Airshow in Scotland.
Pull away
Usa, remember, no uk, no vulcan, then no usa
The F15’s didn’t do the best job of staying in formation with the Vulcan
They're trying their best 😏
The one on the starboard side stayed with her through out the turns.
