  • In this video I explain how to create an electrical plan, or lighting plan ( I create both separately) as well as an interactive schedule (list) for each.

Hi! Thanks for the video. How do I make an Electrical Layer like yours, in Black and White except for electrical object that are in Red?

I haven't found a way to display a particular bit of information & could use some help. Is there a way to run; and schedule wiring through an entire house by gauge/type & total linear footage in Archicad 22? (I've been searching the scheme settings/schedule fields; and linear footage is not an option. I've tried all the logical options and still no luck)

Lovely video but unfotunately i think you should respect the standard EE (electrical equipment) symbols. I work in the field and i can tell you for sure you are not using a transformer symbol instead of a socket one. use the socket symbol and add number 2 on top or two lines in the semicercle if you want to draw a double socket. You will only create huge confusion with electrical teams. you shouldnt design electrical systems if you dont have knowledge in it. How do you know where to put junction boxes or types of fuseboards , how to you calculate loads, voltage, amps and wire bedding? for basic design like lighting and such it could work..but revit is far away more advanced in electrical, plubming and HVAC design. As i said, if you dont know the national normatives and regulations, you shouldnt design electric plans that hit the contruction site.

robert how do you create legend

Hi Ipuleni, I usually create a legend as a worksheet (2D). this is done simply by using the object, text (or 2D lines) as a symbol, and then placing this on each relevant layout or on the master layout if I want it to be seen on all pages. The schedules are much more complicated. I have made some other videos on this process in several parts.
