- Okay heads up middle of the video my sound gets a little out of sync and i have been trying to fix it for months now and i simply can't be bothered anymore so there you go, my apologies, there is something wrong with our current recording method but next time i got a lav mic to fix it!! Enjoy!!! Filming by @giulliang . My instagram and twitter are @annmakosinski . Thanks for watching!!! Will be making a new analysis starting tomorrow. xoxo I wasn't entirely pleased with this analysis that i filmed back in end of January and i've let it sit and re-edited so many times and i realized i should just let it go, so it's not my best but i will improve!! thanks for being so patient.
Really interesting to hear someone else talk about this movie. My dad is from the Czech Republic and this is one of my childhood movies. Probably one of the reasons why I decided to study engineering honestly.
Thank you again, Ann. With your amazing way of describing, you surely inspire to watch the movie that you're talking about!
Wow! Really impressive Annalysis. And a very interesting movie. Thanks for this video and your previous list. You have seen “Metropolis” right? Similar social depiction.
Yes Metropolis is AWESOME! The restored version they released recently is worth the watch.
Thank Ann for being with us and making sooo much amazing during this lockdown.😘😘😘😘 Stay safe.
If you haven't seen yet, I recommend his very next film "The Fabulous Baron Munchausen" (1961)
Bro, I am most def inspired to watch it.
Just a visual part is so groovy, no similarities to nowadays movies, animations & stuff
Be careful in a quarantine times
Intense movie for 1958, amazed by what they pulled off.. could definitely see where Wes' gets some of his influence
I love your videos, please don't stop
Another excellent expose (don't know how to put accent aigu over the e). Life Aquatic requires multiple viewings to appreciate the genius, which I suppose can be said for all Anderson's films.
Hi, the way to put an accent over the e: press the e key, hold it and you should see several options of other e’s floating above. Simply slide your finger tip from the e key up to the accented e of your choice. Click on that, your accented e will appear and you can resume writing.
Excellent Review! I agree with everyone else, Your editing skills are Top Notch! I’m excited to watch more. Thank you!
Thanks :)
Your editing skills has gone top notch👌
aw THANK U
Excellent analysis of a brilliant film. Watch Melies 'Divers Working on the Wreck of the Maine' (it`s here) and you`ll see where Zeman got his inspiration or the underwater scenes in this film.
Siempre tan elegante..
Excellent analysis.
Would this be considered steampunk? My guess is yes.
Annalysis 🔥🔥🔥
