Tropical Islands resort Mobile Homes (accommodation) review

We stayed 2 night in this mobile home while visiting the Tropical Island resort (about 1 hour / 80 km south of Berlin) last year.
It was for us with 2 small kids the cheapest possibility to visit the tropical islands (Entry to the resort is included) the only downside is that it's actually a couple of km away from the tropical island main facility (the big hangar).
The upside of the mobile homes is, that you can prepare your own food which especially as a family will save you big money - the downside is that you have to change your clothes and return to the mobile home to do so.
We did book our stay via their official website and it worked without issues: www.tropical-islands.de/en/ov... other pages might offer discounts especially if you book far ahead outside the German main season (outside school holidays)

I guess they might be a bit more susceptible to bad/lack of maintenance than a hotel.
They're planning to up their overnight capacity on that site to the biggest hotel location - also interesting history, it used to be a Luftwaffe airfield in WW2 and then was rebuild by the soviets so the reception and rec room are located in old hangars.
And then add the cargo lifter story on top.
