So true and needed this. I am gearing up to start 2025 with a plan. Today during my lunch I sat down to write down my credit cards , balances and interest rates. This week I have cash in my wallet and not using my debit card.
Reflecting back on a previous video and something you mentioned in this one, be honest about your spending. For us the grocery spending was too much, and I really justified it by reasoning it is food. Too much junk in those purchases, cleaned that up! Also something to add, be sure you know what is included in things you are paying for, I recently discovered a subscription channel we had (were paying for) was already included in our cable, Yes we were paying for something we were already paying for. Cost us about 50.00 before I realized it. Great video, thank you.
Loved the video! Y’all are outstanding. Love all the tips and advice. We have paid off 3 credit cards in the last 3 weeks. We have goals that are reachable. We are wanting to purchase the land next door once it goes up for sale. They are clearing it now! We’ve been making extra money to pay off these debts. Thank y’all so much. Love all y’all’s videos
Broke people love to tell you what to do! Don't listen to them and instead talk to people who got out of debt and are living pretty much stress free. Love your video's!
I've saved $10K and I'm considered below poverty line. I'm Rich with solutions.$10 10lbs beans, a bag last .5 week. Fun to Cook using my rocket stove and 420. I'll listen to the radio I recharge my radio with solar. I have luxury, circle K coffee and Mt dew~$5 a day. That's a great way to get satisfaction for less. Excellent coffee I love it so much I had my back to the wall in front the store and just enjoying the perfectly mixed coffee, I had people ask if I was ok. Yup 👍🏻 great coffee should be appreciated and I know it's hard to find your perfect mix .
I am 56 years old single I started $500 since my husband died 14 years ago he was an alcoholic and smoked heavily did light drugs on my own I raised married our three daughter age 26 27 27 saved $240000 Australian dollars mortgage debt free my goal is by July next year to reach $150000 in bank
12:18 I used retirement fund to pay off house and cash for car. Used rest to cover medical expenses related to kidney failure/ transplant. I am currently stoney broke because I wanted to pay house taxes. I volunteer 3 days a week at charity bookstore and want to return to charity garden that grows veg for food bank. I am currently earing from my stash. (Oatmeal, cornmeal, canned veg, pasta, rice, beans, self canned chicken 2022, etc. What advise do you have for me? My expectations are limited to "keeping Henry (my kidney transplant) happy" so he keeps me alive. I'd just like to afford to go to a matinee movie once in a while.
In the past every activity will cost you money, save or make you money or will cost you nearly nothing. Nowadays a new activity is delaying pay for that activity over time. I try to focus on saving or making money and things that cost nearly nothing. Then when you look at a list of things to do, try to move the things that save money or make you money to the top of the list. Some things you do will never make money but it's a mind set that I am talking about.
I know a few people who say that they are poor but are not. They are simply poor at managing money yet confuse the two types of “poor” A change in mindset is what they need. One of these people had a career in the public sector, and with a union too,, so his salary and now pension are easily available for all to see for a person with that career.
Thank you guys for such great imfo , I’ve been watching for a while and decided to cancel our cable to save money learned it from you both and I saw a video where Larry said he found some good shows on Netflix so just wondering if you could share some cause now that we don’t have cable I thought I’d check out Netflix but trying to find some good family shows to watch , your both so good together love it .
My sister told me we would have more money when are kids were grown. I could not conceive of it. Like how? But it's true. Our income is up! We are consumer debt free. Thank you God. And a single mother who said I pay my bills first. What's left we can spend. We/ I save bank majority of our income The day is coming we cannot work..we neither have a pension. Both SS eligible He has reached FRA and works .I'll be 65 next mo Medicare age .get off Obama care at $482 mo just me! Ridiculous .not affordable COVID scare forced me to get ins If hospitalized w COVID... 30 days Bill.asyronomical Have barely used the healthcare coverage Insurance is a racket
Save on washing and wear, blue jeans and some clothes don't always need to be washed after one use, the old days, clothes were brushed clean. Jeans 👖 repeal dirt often.
Tempted to turn off water sewer and garbage since they charged me $49 for it. They won't give me power back might as well just buy all my water from the filter machine. I'm alone and can't justify paying $25 a month for garbage just me come on ! $600 a year for this.
Idea for video, joint or separate accounts like ownership, bank accounts, bills like utilities and other things in your finances. It was a mistake to leave electric ⚡💡 bills in my mother's name after she died. If i die i want my things all, in my name for easy access to my sister when I go. I also signed over my banking to her with my death certificate.
I want to start a new budget for 2025 im not consistent but I want to be im fortunate in one way my husband pays most of household bills I pay for part of the rent and my car insurance im also paying on my loans a personal loan and my suv payment it's combined together dec 2025 my suv will be paid off im ok but this video is definitely for me im going to start working on my new budget today I also have 3 grand in savings so that's something better than 0 dollars in savings I would like your thought on this ❤
Sinking funds may help ease the big budget expenditures. I set aside money each month for my property and school taxes and home and car insurance. It’s a lot, frankly, but I’m more than ready when these bills come due.
@beth3535 It's comical when they say I am below the poverty line I was a teen on my own. I worked at Pizza Hut not because of the money because I got to bring home the unused personal pan pizzas from lunch. If it wasn't for that I would have starved to death because we know these cheap motherfauther's don't tip. Just a way to pay your help below minwage.

It's almost as if Larry wrote this. I could hear his voice read your comment to me. Way to go!
I have been told we cannot live like you I say I know what I am doing

Congratulations on your transplant! 🤗 I’m a double organ recipient (8 years this February 😊). It’s truly a blessing; much love to you and Henry ❤
@MyrtGyrt Thank you so much. Today was rough and I needed your gift of positivity.😘😘
Saving video to rewatch when I back slide in spending. Wknd was my "for me" treat budget envelope spent on one meal out.

I always pay my savings account first and then budget with what's left.
Realistic time related goals
Thank you

Needs verses wants delayed gratification think before you spend even one dollar stock check spread cost prioritise

Not sure that is a good idea. Hygiene is very important. Why don’t you have power? You need the basics of life.
What happened to the subscriptions?? Why lower??
Our overall subscriptions have grown.
Not all millionaires are happy, your.goal should be to be happy.😊
Thank you for this video.

Hello all, day seven or eight in hospital 🏥, given colonoscopy yesterday, I think they are too fugal feeding you after, a piece of toast.
Victor, so sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital. We hope you are feeling better and are back home soon.
I want to afford to be happy as many times as possible without future results of less happiness.

This month cost more because car insurance is due every 6 months.

Is it PRioRiTiES????
LOL! It's not. In fact while we were editing the video I thought how weird it was that I never mentioned my favorite word in the video at all.
LOL😂
