I use the same method of Leave In, oil PAUSE, then styling cream. It works wonders for my hair. Now if I can match your flat twist game, I’ll be in business. Beautiful results, as usual.

I do that too when straightening my hair…
After blow drying, I apply my serum & twist it back up for about 10-15 mins then straighten.. My hair feels softer & it gets straighter & more silky!

YYYAAASSS SIS looks lovely. These are the only type of twists I have the patience to sit in the chair to get. Can't do them on my own tho I can't braid either. I can stretch the style for about 2 weeks. If I use my Q-Redew to renew it for that second week.

For five days
Jeanette did I hear you say when styling your hair it should dry and not ”damp/wet “ Can you elaborate on this please.
When you unravel your hair make sure your hair is dry. I always style my hair while it;s wet so before unraveling rod sets, twists, braids, whatever I make sure my hair is dry. If your hair is damp it's prone to getting frizzy and not holding up

i feel discouraged sometimes with my natural 4c hair and feel like wearing box braids all year round again :(
It get's easier with time. Style of wet hair, apply products and layer LOC/LCO/ LOCO etc., comb products in nicely, style firmly, wait for hair to be 100% dry before take down
