Absolutely! Show us these patterns. I work along with you (using papers I not fond of) make my own and write directly on the item for my idea book. I think I need a Kathleen section. 😉
Love these pockets - try not to get too anxious - only look at videos that are positive & fun , not the war or etc.. I self teach myself watching videos & making samples but then I stop & clean , cook etc so I don’t get overwhelmed ..these are adorable & different , thanks ..
Kathleen, these are brilliant in their simplicity! Thank you so much for your videos. I love all of them. Yes, please, to more pocket and tag template ideas!!! I need uncomplicated projects to be able to work faster because that’s my biggest hurdle in making journals. I get bogged down. Your ideas and suggestions resonate with me! For some years I have not watched or listened to the news media in any form. I was raised to tune in and it was a habit and part of my routine. I realised awhile back that it was not beneficial to me or the world. If I was thinking of the “bad” in the world and focused on it, then I was not helping in any way. I needed to focus on the “good” and not place more thought and emphasis on what is harming the humans, animals and nature around us and do my part for the good of all. Many probably disagree with this, however, our thoughts, words and deeds are very powerful in my opinion. 😀💞
I avoid the news as well because it makes me too upset that they always show just death and destruction. I do keep informed of events from those around me but I have to avoid the horrible images so they don't linger in my mind.
Very nice loved them all!! ❤ My ways to deal with anxiety is to turn off the television, stay off the computer or phone (unless you're using them for crafting), and to have nice music going. Nothing we can do about situations in the world, trust in God, he'll take care of those. You just take care of you!! TFS Hugs * L
Hugs to you Kathleen. I just wanted to tell you that I so enjoy your videos. I love your journals, your ideas, and your kindness. I wish us gals that make journals lived closer so we could get together once and a while to create together, don't you?
Oh Nancy, yes! That would be so much fun. I know there are a few journal makers here in New Mexico, and many more in the larger southwest (USA). Where are you? (Have I asked that before??) Thanks for the hugs! and the watchtime!
Just found your channel from 49 dragonflies, and happy I did , you r a warrior doing this with anxiety . Pocket is awesome , and a great inspiration ! Thank you from all that deal with anxiety .
I love these so much I had to go to my studio and make some right away despite the fact that I was watching this video in the middle of the night cause I couldn't sleep! I would love to see more pocket ideas.
Hello Kathleen, I discovered you today by way of Barbara at 49dragonflies and I'm so glad because you have such a lovely manner when presenting your podcast. A pleasure to watch and listen to. Anxiety can be cruel but crafting sets us free so I do as much as I can. Thank you.
I love this project! I'm a brand new subscriber. I found you through Barbara at 49dragonflies. Her junk journal snacks video today was based on this one. ❤️

Thanks so much Dawn! I hope you’ll make a section for me, haha!
@@poddwilliams1766 I did, my hope for you, too.
I understand the anxiety, I suffer from both anxiety and depression, but working on my junk journals is so relaxing.
So sorry to hear that you understand, but appreciate the sympathy Louise! Art is surely relaxing and healing, as well.

Thanks so much Lorraine! I really should add cleaning and cooking actually, and maybe a walk outside- I’m sure it would help.
I love the pockets, but that book page tag that you stamped on is sure to be my new favorite!
Haha, well that’s an easy tag for sure. Glad you like it!

3:15 I love the idea of keeping a zipper pocket of templates of pockets. Thanks!!
It’s been a real help to me Lena! I’m glad you like the idea!

@@BeAgainBooks I live in Illinois, west of the city of Chicago. I don't know of any journal makers near me either.
@@nancypyter1511 I grew up where you are. In Melrose Park to be exact. Now living in central Florida
Arizona!
Where in Arizona? I have a daughter in Tucson and my dil-Kate lives in Gilbert!
I've never seen that trick before, of putting the thin line of glue in the fold. What a great idea!
Glad you think so Kristen! Thanks for watching.
So excited. Ran into craft room & made 12 of these. Thanks for inspiration.
Yes! So glad you find it a useful pattern, Maicel - well done!

Thanks so much for coming by Lorelei! Welcome!
These pockets/tuck spots are brilliant! How effective that one fold is! A great example of how ‘less is more.’ I love your style!
Thanks so much Marion! You make me smile!
I love these so much I had to go to my studio and make some right away despite the fact that I was watching this video in the middle of the night cause I couldn't sleep! I would love to see more pocket ideas.
I have done that before Katrina - when I couldn’t sleep! These are so easy. I’m glad you have it in your idea list now. Thanks for watching!
Love the pockets 👍😊

Oh I am so glad you’ve made a few. Thanks so much for watching!
Love the pockets 🤩
I'm happy you do! Thanks for watching.
These remind me of the button down shirt pockets. I think it would be cute to add a “button” on the tip like that.
So true Sue! That’s a fun suggestion!
