That's exactly how I waterproof my gear. Even though I don't have a boat, that Power stick might be good for me to have, for those occasions when I'm a guest on a Bass Boat, and I might get to do some tournaments as a Co-angler, if the boat owner would allow.
good video, question, when using the power stick in the port, do you still have to have a go pro battery in your go pro even though you are running the power source from your boat battery? thx
Hey got a question for you love the video, I’m wanting to purchase a GoPro for filming me and the fam fishing out of the boat, which GoPro would you suggest thank you for your help
Great video! You should do a video some day on your entire camera setups you use for a day of filming out on the water and how difficult it can be self filming. Having done it my self in the past for a TV show, it's not as easy as some may think, well at least on the hunting side its not. Lots of time, video editing and gear and that's besides the fishing part of it all lol. Seems it may be a little easier fishing versus filming a hunt. Just curious on the gear you use and the steps you take before, during and after the day of fishing/filming.
I think they are cheap Chinese junk on my 4th one over the last 4 years. One was broken right out of the pack The plastic ear on the ball was broken, one shorted out inside where are you slide it up and down , the next one broke where it plugs into the boat post hook up. The one l use now is about two years old I hold my breath every time I use it 😂😂😂😂 l keep looking for a better made alternative I thought about trying to making one myself. Hope you have better luck than l have had with mine 👍👍
Super helpful for folks who either don’t know about this or folks starting out filming. Great video!
Thanks Joe.

Yes the waterproof silicon putty works great. I hope you jump in a few tournaments RWA!
Great video my wife got me one for Christmas
Excellent! I'm still using my first one from 3 years ago.
@@TheTinHorseMonty I got to use mine yesterday now I have to learn how to edit the videos together
@@bryanthefishermanbaker4961 Sweet. You'll figure it out. Just takes practice.

Thanks for the question. I don't use a battery on my Power Stick camera. The camera is less likely to overheat that way.
thank you very much @@TheTinHorseMonty
Hey bro I am trying to use your discount code but its not working. Any help? (I'm from Canada)
HMM Try this one bit.ly/tinyolotek Use code THM20 after clicking on the link. Let me know if it works.
Cool gadget!
Works great. Not sure if you could rig one up on the pontoon 😁
@@TheTinHorseMonty hahaha my thoughts exactly while watching.
@@TheTinHorseMonty We have lots of customers that install a navlight port on pontoons and live the #AlwaysBeRecording lifestyle :)

I would go with the 11 Black. It holds up well in heat and cold and has good audio and picture. That's what I use for a chest camera.

That’s a great idea and I’ve thought about it many times. Not sure about hunting but the fishing videos are very time consuming too.
Enjoyed it
Thanks
Great video sir
Thanks Much appreciated.
Silicone need to replaced after every use? or does it hold its shape? mine is showing up in a few days.
No. It's made out of Elaztec. It holds its shape. Make sure and super glue the weight or it may fall out.
how many straight hours of recording does your chip hold?
Nice vid.
I use a 256 gig card. I get 8-10 hour’s recording at 4K 30fps.
@@TheTinHorseMonty thanks for the info! Tight lines!

@@zacharymartin1477 Welcome buddy
Thanks bro bro!!
Welcome. Great product!
Silcoln looks like it would make a good ned rig in a pinch 😂
Multi Purpose.
So what version of GoPro you using now? I got the 8Hero. I've used it more for hunting than fishing. Been eyeing the Yolotek for a while...
I have 2 Black 5’s, a Black 7 and an 8. The 5’s are the most dependable. The 8 has better audio. The Power Stick is worth it.
So do you still use a memory SD card or whatever it's called?
Yes. The memory card goes in the camera
I have a GoPro hero 12 is this going to work with the stick because I have to open up the door where the battery sits to plug it in
I would recommend buying a new door that has a slot for the USB C plug. You can find them at YOLOTek or elsewhere. That's what I did. Works great.
That's your anchor light port, not "nav". Navigation lights are the red/green up front.
Thanks for the info. I thought they were all navigation lights.
Will it work on the nav. Outlet on the front of the boat?
It will work in any nav port. It has several adapters,
@@TheTinHorseMonty thanks
One of the best unboxing EVER! Great job. #AlwaysBeRecording #YOLOteking
Thanks Guys. Love the product!
Did you say you have a promo code we could use?

A drone would be cool. Someday 💰💰
Damn.....discount code said it is invalid now :(
Sorry. Thanks for trying it. If you click on the Bait WrX link in the description box it still helps the channel out.
