@@bladeealbania Doran was abysmal in Games 1 and 2, but as we saw in Games 3 and 4, he knows how to play his role as a weakside player, which is why he's able to go toe to toe with the likes of Kiin and Zeus. I support T1, so I can tell you first hand exactly how frustrating it feels to watch Doran turn into a top lane god against Zeus and then turning his brain off when he plays any other team outside of the LCK. If anything, Chovy and Peanut were horrendous across all 5 games. Delight was the only one constantly trying to find angles to get his team into teamfights and Peyz really showed a lot of skill and composure for a rookie.

This is also Bin's Rumble debut on pro stage...also Elk and On were not well known for their Senna and Tahm games...they picked those champions on the last game of a BO5 againts 1st seed of LCK...they truly believed in themselves and made it through, what a legendary team.

Its the case for LCK in the past 3 years.
If you add the other 3 years LCK"s top team has performed only in 2020. Every other year they fumble the bag espetially if they go to game 5.
The question was raised by IwillDominate some time ago but ppl need to start talking about why LCK teams are losing so many game 5's.

@@stefankatsarov5806t1 can't choke this one. To "choke" they must be extremely favored throughout the tournament which t1 isn't, the favourites for this year was JDG and GENG. Many were expecting a finals with both teams. That is why GENG "choked". Now at quarters LNG is even more favored than t1, they are the underdogs against LNG so no they can't "choke", they might lose but that's different from choking.

@@Wyron21 The meta is heavily LCK favoured and BLG still cucked the top LCK team.
First game GenG draft was fine, but complete failure at execution. BLG won mid game, GenG won late game, so they needed to drag the game out. That means protecting mid and bot lane, ganking a lot early to get prior and get some dragons early, because they wouldn't be able to team fight dragons during mid game, and if they just handed early dragons to BLG as well, that's soul. But Peanut did a very sloppy job warding and tracking Xun, even getting caught out at 10 and nearly getting his bot lane killed. He was also terrible at tracking objective timing, and although getting some ganks, it didn't sync up with dragon or herald timing, so couldn't get a single objective. And Doran just got gapped so hard he needed Peanut to babysit him, drawing attention away from bot, where he should have been. By the second herald, they were just desperate, because they got no business fighting at the time in the game.
Second game was just full inting from the entire team, even the coach.
Fifth game, once again inting draft, letting BLG get full Rumble-J4-Ori. Peanut once again did very sloppy job with tracking Xun, getting invaded early and zoned out, giving Doran as a meal. And he also once again just gave away 2 drags early to focus on top, on a Gnar. Doran and Chovy were just griefing at 4th drag fight.
Don't want to say it, but GenG totally deserves to lose this one.

Yoo. Finally a good series! Very competitive match, Gen.G probably underperforming G1 and G2, but otherwise BLG did great. I'm rooting for T1 but won't be mad if Gigabin takes the tournament.

It's so obvious that GENG is lost because of poor ban pick. Everytime Jarvan is fallen into the hand of Xun, he zoned out Peyz so well. The last team fight at match 5 where he killed Peyz before he can do too much damage basically seals the results. Also, GenG support is the type that opens fight, not peeling for ADC. So GenG needs to go all in and kill the other ADC first but they fail at that. The result of game 5 is just poor ban pick from the coach of GenG and the team

About halfway through game 2 I was wondering if those sports betting apps cover LoL - almost as if Gen G was purposely playing to lose 3 straight or go for a reverse sweep? It literally felt like Gen G was sandbagging. Why did the jungler check dragon pit AFTER they lost dragon only to get caught? Why did Mid/Jungle consistently save their ults and flashes and never use them? In both game 1 and 2, Chovy had a perfect opportunity to 5 man ult them into his own fountain...but was like naw saving ult for next game. Sports betting is ruining popular sports like baseball, football, etc... but damn has it made its effect on e-sports too? This feels different than throwing to face a different opponent in the next stage, this feels like blatant throwing in nearly every game until the reverse sweep became possible then a light switch flipped on and they tried really hard but fell short

Game 1 and 2 were over at 15 minutes but BLG played it slow and safe.
Game 3 they weren't as patient and got punished for it with the team fight that brought the momentum swing.
Looking forward to all-LPL semis as expected.

My analysis on the series. Blg had much better draft in game 1 and 2.
Blg had 2 ranged in bot lane in the first game, best counter would have been draven + hooking champ.
In game 3 GenG was more favoured just because they had Yone and Kaisa which outscales BLGs comp in the later stages. Yone can 1v5 Blg once he has his items so I wasn't suprised that they won.
4th game was an even draft. Picking akali into Neeko was really bad, so at this picking stage I favored Blg more however when they pick TK vs Kalista it even out since kalista will make a corcupine out of TK late game.
In last game it was an even draft again imo. I think Blg was just the better team at the end of day.
Game 1 and 2 were not even draft diffs BLG just destroyed Geng.
