Thank you so much! I’m 44. I collected HEAVILY in the 80s and early 90s. Things have definitely changed and I think maybe for the better. Went to my Local LCS today and it felt so good to be back! Thank you again for your videos!
I like your channel swagglehaus. I got back into comics about a year and a half ago with my childhood collection intact (and in need of maintenance). I love collecting silver/bronze age (nostalgia) but also want to collect a little new. As a completest, the variant world is just evil (lol). I'm having trouble navigating what's coming and how to prioritize.
I wholeheartedly agree about finding a writer you like and buying different books authored by them. When I first started collecting I bought anything written by Frank Miller and Alan Moore and was never disappointed.
I've mentioned this before but I'm so confused, Just working out what book is what now is crazy. You have the constant restarting of the popular titles, variant and ratios. That's before you get into all the store exclusive variants. All i wanted was the comic that came after #3 😆
Hello- GOT a Queston if anyone can help me???---whats the number mean on the back of a comic book?..it looks stamped its like 7 ..2.something you know, in the upper right..like an inch or two away from the spine??....any help would be appreciated...Thanks in advance--im new to all this..

Yeah the writers make such a big difference to me too. Donny Cates is the current writer in Marvel that I enjoy the most.
Thank you, thank you ,thank you for this. I'm just getting started, helped me out a lot!
Helpful video! I am 40 and just getting back into it. Used to read X-men in the 80s. Currently enjoying Kill or Be Killed

Thanks for flipping the screen! I so want to know what books are behind your head. I like to imagine they are Hulk 181 and Amazing Fantasy 15.
If only! At some point I'll be sure to make a top 10 in my collection :)

Omnibus is the best way to save money on a full storyline if you plane on reading.
Or Marvel Unlimited as well :)
I'm 51 and just getting back into it. Anyone recommend some new comics that might appreciate over time with a good read?
I would check out anything written by Donny Cates, Al Ewing or James Tynion right now.
@@Swagglehaus Great thanks so much!
