Thanks for all the comments folks, glad you all seem to like this new version! I've also just uploaded a couple of new bath filling videos on my other channel (Relaxing videos) The isolated sound recorded from the adjacent room is posted on that channel, so please check out the videos there too! ua-cam.com/video/Xa-5kzMcHzY/v-deo.html
It's late October in the year 1998. I wake up and look out the window from bed. Through the frost on the window, I can see it's still dark outside. It's only 6 AM. There is a light shining down the hallway, dimly lighting my room. It's coming from the bathroom. It's my mom getting ready to take a bath. She soon turns the water on, and I can hear the sound of the bath water echoing down the hallway. I don't have to be up and ready for school for another two hours. I roll back over, listening to the bath tub filling up with water. I'm cozy and snuggled in my warm bed, comforted by the sounds of the bath filling with water. I gently fall back to sleep, until it is time to wake up.
What I love most about these videos is not only the peaceful sound but that moment when you get like 1,000 goosebumps on your skin all at the same time. Y’all know what I’m talking about.
Reminds me of when I was a little kid, I’d hear my dad wake up and shower before work early in the morning and I’d go and lay on the carpet beside my parents bed and fall asleep to the sound of the water running from the shower, very relaxing and nostalgic. Sleep to these videos almost every night if not
About time something new came from that bath spout. This one you can clearly hear the depth coming from the hot water. Also dare I say the water level is a bit higher than normal, allowing for a more opaque sound but bringing a more cozy feel to the experience. Or perhaps just the extra layer overlaid from the next room. Brings you right back to the days of youth. This sound inside that cabinet, will render one comatose.
This!!! Perfection. Takes me back to when I was a child and i would curl up under a fluffy towel next to the bathtub with my ear to the floor with the lights out. That deep vibration sound captures it perfectly. Thank you so much for this upload !!! Zzz 😴😴🛁
Only way to soothe my migraines. Hot water filling tub, lay on the floor for hours, and hope to fall asleep. The warmth coming from the tub and the vibration and sounds are just What I need to block out the pain. I have migraines every day- along with fibromyalgia.
Omg , I used to do the same , I would cover myself with a towel, listen to water running through the pipes and bath shower running , , I was only 4-5 at the time but you never forgot the sounds and how it makes you feel .
Wow....that is deep....both the bath and the sound....I am so cosy under my duvet listening to this. Transported back to Sunday nights many many moons ago. Best one since the cabinet one thank you
One of the main things that helps settle my 6 week old son, is a running bath. And apparently, it’s not financially viable for me to run a bath every time he’s crying (Or so my partner says!) Then I came across this video... AND ITS AN ABSOLUTE GOD SEND!!! Guaranteed to settle him within 20 seconds of the video playing. Thank you very much
CAN YOU PLEASE PLEASE MAKE A TEN HOUR VERSION OF THIS? or even just a bit longer that two, because you my friend, have nailed it! the added adjacent sounds make it 💯 perfect. god bless you,no sleeping tablet in the world have done for me what you have. 💜
I know right!! 😫 I’ve found a solution though, create a new playlist but only put this one video on it then select ‘loop’ and it will play continuously one after the other 😁
I need to thank you so much for these videos. I've been listening to your videos for years now and I wish I could put it into words what a lifesaver they have been and how much I appreciate you recording these. Its gotten me through some tough times. 🙏🏻🐨🤗🖤
Felt i had to comment to give thanks to the number of times ive listened to your videos to help sleep/de-stress/study. Your videos are a regular part of my life :)
For anyone wanting a longer version, just make a playlist, put this video inside of your playlist and than you can set it on a loop so it will play all night :)
*This is heaven! thanks so much mate. any chance next time you could have the camera pointed down a little more so we can see the water from the tap hitting the water in the bath? :)*
Thanks again man. I could try that in a future video, but the problem is because it's looped, you would see the water level going up and then jumping back down every time the video loops if you know what I mean. I guess I could show it filling up to half way, then basically pause the video footage while the sound continues, then re start the video for the last few minutes of the clip to show it filling up to the top.
These REALLY need to be at least 10hrs long as once the sound stops (after 1,2 or 3 hrs say) I wake up and can never get back to sleep in the same way!!!😱🙈
On an iPhone touch the screen. When you see the “gear” symbol touch it. It will open a menu. Touch “loop” so that it says it “on”. Your video will now continue to play by looping itself over and over.
If you were to record the bathtub in mono, resample in stereo and maybe add a few things (like a little reverb or slap on a band-pass filter, w/e), would ASMR fans consider that cheating because its not like the field recorded audio?
It mad me fall asleep last night and thank you I fell right to sleep and you're doing do more of these videos they make me happy every day and can you a face revle or no am just asking am not being mean and I will like all yours videos and keep it up
I like the one hour version because it has the start where the door closes slowly and you get that nice lead in. Dying to get more door closed or in the next room bath sounds
Fantastic! Love the deep rumble. Do you have video of the water actually splashing into the tub? This sound would also be a good one for outside the door recording.
@@bitter-bit I will be uploading another video soon, which has the isolated sound recorded from the adjacent room. This video has both the sound recorded in the bathroom itself and the sound from the other room mixed together, but it's the sound from the other room which adds a lot of the deep rumbling sounds to this video! I will be uploading the new video on my other channel, but I will post the link here when it's ready.
Whenever a bath was run I'd lay down a towel next to the tub, fold another towel as a pillow, then lay down and cover myself with a third towel, pretend I was in a cave, all safe and sound, press my ear up against the bath, while blocking my other ear off, and feel the sound of the running water reverberate through my body, sometimes peak through the small patch of light near my feet, like the entrance to a cave far away, sometimes rest my arm out on the cold tiles on the floor or the side of the bath, I await the one who has done the same...
I do the same thing. You would think having an arm or leg on cold tile would be distressing while the rest of you is covered in towels and snuggly. But for some reason it seems to be part of the ritual. Been doing this since I was a child and I will continue to do so as long as I am able.
I use an Alesis Multimix USB mixer connected to my Windows 7 laptop, running Cubase LE. I use that stuff for recording my drums, but it works for the ASMR stuff too! I just recently bought a Zoom H6, so I will be trying that next, which should make setup a little bit quicker and it's more portable for doing location recording (waterfalls etc) which would be almost impossible using the Alesis Mixer and Laptop!
less hissing from the tap or tinny sound from yhe tub but mostly water hitting water. the nuance with the change of depth of the water would be nice, ab abanisio but i probably just need some more listening time, best one so far, bubble bath was abviously added, it takes someone who knows to know it
I trained my dog to were at night if he has to pee and he hears this sound to pee on my face because it feels like the warm tub water splashing on my face

Why was your mum taking a bath in the morning instead of sleeping? I would love to hear her answer. I hope you'll ask her.

On an iPhone touch the screen. When you see the “gear” symbol touch it. It will open a menu. Touch “loop” so that it says it “on”. Your video will now continue to play by looping itself over and over.
