Breast and Endocrine Society of Western UP (BRENDOS WUP), is a Problem-Based Learning Programme, with monthly online meetings. A unique platform to enhance and upskill the existing knowledge of Breast and Endocrine Surgery.

WE ALL KNOW Breast cancer is the most common cancer world-wide with the highest mortality.
Our health workers and researchers are also not at rest. Day in and out newer therapies are being tried to treat this deadly disease. The advancements are too rapid for everyone to keep a track of.
When I was passed out from my institute in 2012, the management was absolutely different from what we are doing now.
The introduction of molecular markers, the availability of new molecules and a better understanding of this disease has dramatically changed the systemic treatment of breast cancer.
In our BRENDOS meeting on the 26th of April at 7 p.m., we tried to understand "Mastalgia - A Must Know for Breast Specialists" where, with the help of experts, we will try to understand how the concept of systemic therapy in breast cancer evolved from its primitive form to its present role with a systematic approach to patient management.

For those who are new to this program, BRENDOS-WUP is an online academic programme, where on every last Friday of the month, clinicians from all the specialities with a special interest in Breast and Endocrinology, join together and discuss a clinical problem with Breast Meets in odd months and Endo meets in odd months. January being an even month, this time we had an Endo meeting on the 26th of April at 7 pm. An interesting clinical case is discussed in detail with original images, with defined Learning Objectives, which are answered through the discussion and with the help of the Guest faculties from Eminent Institutes, with expertise in that field.
It's a problem-based learning programme with a focus on practical management and skill enhacement. We look forward seeing you in the
meeting.
