My wife passed away today - guess it was yesterday, still up so same day to me... this song meant a lot to us. Thirty + years... I loved her so. As I sit here feeling such grief that I can not begin to relate, it occurs to me how few these days simply don't know what it's like to lose someone they've been with for so long. Most simply don't stay together long enough to know the sort of grief that losing someone they've been with for the majority of their lives brings. I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my father. When I saw him last (he was going away to visit friends in Jamaica] I knew that it was going to be the last time. I have always had a neat knowing of these things to be able to sense the truth about the world about someone’s life. I hugged him and I cried. I said I understand you have to go home. He died a week later after arriving in Jamaica. The night before my sister talked to him, and she asked him what was he doing and he said I’m just sitting underneath an Ackee tree listening to the birds singing and I feel so happy.

This is the first song my daughter danced to in my womb. I was dumped when I was pregnant and was depressed in bed. This song came on and my baby started moving around like crazy I felt so happy and felt like I'll get through this with you, it will always remind me of that moment. When I was little, my grandfather would always cut an apple for me, and put the seeds in a small pill bottle. He always said that one day he plant apple trees along the fence around his house. We both knew that that would probably never happen, but it always seemed to brighten my day. Two years ago, he passed away due to complications during surgery, and it was only after I understood why he did this. After the funeral, my grandmother told me that he was in constant pain. She was the only one that knew, because he did t want people to worry about him. Those pill bottles were the worst part of his life, but he made the best of it to make him happy. Grandpa, if you’re reading this, thank you.

I'm about to be 16 years old and I still come back to this song frequently, specifically this music video. My mother passed away when I was about 8 years old and one of the only memories I still remember every aspect of is her, my dad, and I dancing and singing this song in his office while the video played in the background. We would talk about how we'd all travel the world one day and see them in concert someday. I would say we listened to this song a hundred times and watched every cover of it that was on UA-cam at the time. As a child, I have a distinct memory of my grandparents dancing in the kitchen while singing this song. It was a special moment for me because I rarely saw them let loose and have fun like that. The song was one that they both loved, and it always put them in a good mood. I remember feeling happy and carefree as I watched them dance and sing with each other. Even though I was too young to understand the lyrics, the melody was so catchy that I found myself humming it for days afterward. Sadly, both my grandparents have since passed away, my grandma died from cancer and my grandad played this song for her and sung along during her last hours i guess what they say is true people can die from a broken heart shortly after my grandfather passed we buried them togther and played this song for them once more so whenever I hear this song, it takes me back to that moment in the kitchen with them. I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my father. When I saw him last (he was going away to visit friends in Jamaica] I knew that it was going to be the last time. I have always had a neat knowing of these things to be able to sense the truth about the world about someone’s life. I hugged him and I cried. I said I understand you have to go home. He died a week later after arriving in Jamaica. The night before my sister talked to him, and she asked him what was he doing and he said I’m just sitting underneath an Ackee tree listening to the birds singing and I feel so happy.

She recently destroyed herself with drug addiction and I’ve gotten custody of our two children. As soon as I heard this song again the other day I balled my eyes out in this strange happy memory, tears of joy and sadness haze. Two years ago, he passed away due to complications during surgery, and it was only after I understood why he did this. After the funeral, my grandmother told me that he was in constant pain. She was the only one that knew, because he did t want people to worry about him. Those pill bottles were the worst part of his life, but he made the best of it to make him happy. I'm about to be 16 years old and I still come back to this song frequently, specifically this music video. My mother passed away when I was about 8 years old and one of the only memories I still remember every aspect of is her, my dad, and I dancing and singing this song in his office while the video played in the background. We would talk about how we'd all travel the world one day and see them in concert someday. I would say we listened to this song a hundred times and watched every cover of it that was on UA-cam at the time. Usually it makes me sad to think about how she isn't with me anymore but this song just makes both my heart and my face smile. My dad and I still listen to it to this day. I hope I never forget it. As a child, I have a distinct memory of my grandparents dancing in the kitchen while singing this song. It was a special moment for me because I rarely saw them let loose and have fun like that. The song was one that they both loved, and it always put them in a good mood. I remember feeling happy and carefree as I watched them dance and sing with each other. Even though I was too young to understand the lyrics, the melody was so catchy that I found myself humming it for days afterward. Sadly, both my grandparents have since passed away, my grandma died from cancer and my grandad played this song for her and sung along during her last hours i guess what they say is true people can die from a broken heart shortly after my grandfather passed we buried them togther and played this song for them once more so whenever I hear this song, it takes me back to that moment in the kitchen with them. It's a memory that I will always hold dear to my heart and makes me cry i hope i find someone to love like they loved🙏❣️
