Longest session I’ve been through is my second day on my thigh. We were at the shop for about 20hours, with actually being tattooed under the needle for 16 hours.
First day we went 13 hours at the shop and 10.5 under the needle for a total of 26h of tattooing in two days 😅💀
That is beast bro. Havent had one that needed that long yet. 8-9 hours is my longest so far
Your content is the best! I just got a new tattoo and I feel that because of your advices, the session was the best it could have been. Now I also appreciate more my artist

Not having watched them yet (looking forward to it) - and this isn't your usual MO, but have you considered producing content on how the pandemic has impacted your business? I can only imagine (and it isn't positive) .
This topic could be expanded to how socio-economic, political and other issues and societal shifts impact your industry as a whole versus the world you've carved out for yourself. Granted, this may not jive with your vision.

I honestly don’t know how people can either sit or tattoo for that long. I personally have a short battery, meaning I get tired very quickly and when doing anything. 13-14 hours is absolutely insane. The tattoo is absolutely badass btw
thanks. its tough to do anything for that long. usually either emotional or physical exhaustion sets in but that day we were in the zone

was just at the shop from 3:30pm yesterday to 12:30pm finishing my arm with a total of 16-17 hours as well. Didn’t know it was possible and added on another tip at the end bc that’s just a sign of pure love for the trade and I really respect him for that👍
My longest sessions have been 7 hours on my arms and legs so far, and after that I finish really tired and sore. There's no way I could handle 13 hours on my ribs.
I'm sure your buddy already told you. But a 14 hour rib tat is pretty bearable compared to 3 grueling months of Ranger School
for sure. mental toughness is all relative. the reality was he was laying down on a cushioned chair in an air conditioned building getting poked with a tiny needle for a while. not so crazy if you've experienced hard things in life

My appointment with you is coming up.🎉 It'll be the longest session I will attempt. 😳 My longest has been 4 and I barely made it! 😭Those apples and candy bouquet hurt like a MF😤😭💔 but they were both worth it! Let's see how I will do now, I've gotten better. I even went and got my ditch tattooed a few weeks ago just to start building pain tolerance. 💪

im working on a cover up on my ribs the longest i could do is 4 hours max i just found out about numbing cream definitely will be using that next my session the ribs and stomach is top 5 painful asf lol

i feel your pain. i've sat for 12 before and it was brutal
First tattoo was done october last year i sat for 6 hours to bust out the outline then 8 more hours for shading then 4 more hours for the rest my skin was in complete distress but my mind kept telling me to keep going
Hi,,can I still add color on my black/gray tattoo? i have half sleeve floral design..thanks in advance
it kinda depends on how much saturation the grey has. usually it's not a good idea because the grey mixes with and neutralizes the color. especially if its bright colors like yellows and oranges
@@JamesWithee its a wash of gray, but the leaves are darker than the flowers,,flowers only have gray wash in the middle

I did 6hours on my ribs and died. On my arms, I could sit all day.
On my other rib panel, I tapped and couldn't make it in one shot.
same. i sat for 12 hours on my outer arm one time. easy. but the stomach and ribs.. yikes. i did like 8.5 one time and prolly couldn't have made it for more than another hour.

I'm about to get a chinese fire dragon across my chest and I'm like slightly panicking about how much it might hurt.
I'm definitely going to need some edibles and probably a muscle relaxer for that fun however mine is only going to be a 4 to 7 hour tattoo not even close to 15 hours.
Plus I have a tiny little bird bladder, don't think I could make it that long without a lot of bathroom trips!!!
good luck on your session! i haven't found edibles to help much personally. they increase my anxiety during a tattoo when i'm under the needle. xanax takes a little bit of the edge off and seems to make it easier to sit through, although i would never suggest that someone else try it *wink wink*

Longest I ever did was 10 hours, came back in the next day for three hours so he could finish it up, a bunch of white highlights... 3 hours was so much worse then the 10 tbh. Whole time was just thinking gotta make it the next 60 seconds lol

hard questions to answer. i have a bunch of favorites and how many sessions depends on the style / placement / skin type / etc.
I couldn’t imagine getting tattooed while drunk. I’ve been getting tattooed for over 10 years. And was addicted to opiates and xanax for 6 out of that 10 and never once got tattooed while high or drunj. Probably could’ve sat while on heroin or Xanax never did though, but Forsure couldn’t do it drunk.
