I'm 35 and to be honest I was very straight laced in my '20s into early thirties, The past two years or so not going to lie I've been getting involved in the hookup scene a bit, and it's crazy cuz I know it's wrong, however the reality of my experience is very hard to argue with, that yes it's a fallen culture, and it's so hard to stay on the path of the Lord consistently. 🙏🏼 I've taken the approach for the time being while still in college working on my degree, that I will take some of these opportunities as they come with women, and use those as learning opportunities and my own education. For such philosophies "inner peace" is not escaping problems and seeking porn, video games, and comfort. It is the contrary. Eudaimonistic/Stoic peace is having peace and happiness, yes, but in a way that you embrace your duty, being disciplined being a man and confronting things, etc. as it is said in the 4 main virtues of Stoicism, Justice, Widsom, Courage, and Temperance which I need not to explain further as you know already about it. The only thing i don't agree with is 2nd. Peace. Yes i do agree with peace comes from progress, and ye honestly i can not be completely peaceful without making progress. But i do think that peace comes firstly from God. And that you should in a way chase peace (so chase God, who will give you that peace that you want). And if you are with him, i believe that no matter trough what struggle you are going trough, you will find peace in him. So ye i kinda agree but just wanted to add that, maybe it helps someone haha. So you should chase peace, but peace does not come from video games prn...etc.. it comes from God, and no matter in what situation you are, you will always find peace in God. So yes chase peace, if that peace is God. Also if chasing peace means chasing God, then you will also make progress and work on yourself (like the video tells you to), because God hates sloth and laziness, it is one of 7 deadly sins.
