To this day I still think the father of Suito's daughter is The Teacher. I also think Yuichi is the Kildern clone of The Teacher. As seen in the game every time one of the adult human pilots died, they were replaced by a Kildern clone, sometimes of themselves. There is enough evidence in the film to really prove both. 1. Suito had a close relationship with the Teacher, they even show them together in the women's professional hotel. 2. Suito sees The Teacher in Yuichi which is why she basically uses him as a love doll, but can not love him until her memories are erased as all she sees is a young Teacher either she still loves the Teacher or hates him for leaving her and just sees him every time she sees Yuichi. 3. Yuichi's flies nearly identical to how the Teacher flies in the film, doing many of the same moves, and is likely why the Teacher decked him so brutally in the end of the film. 4. The relationship between the Teacher and Suito is likely why Suito has lived so long. Where as the Teacher makes sure his Kildern Pray do not survive. Suito lives even when she deliberately goes out looking for the teacher, she still returns. Who knows how many times she has done this and has always returned. If the Teacher can tell who he is up against just by how they fly, he may know every time he engages Suito, and disengages and leaves her.
FYI The Teacher had 2 other names before that Lynx and Cheetah. This after the game that’s only on the Wii it’s also where you see The Teacher’s face. But it’s true on the thing he’s a adult flying a J2 V
Fear. He shot one down and he wanted someone to go back and tell the others. The teacher might have been low on fuel himself and didn’t have the time to waste on a dogfight

Westy is the worst wingman ever
Is it just me or they sound a bit like the CP's from Half life 2?
The teacher looks scary
Why didn’t the Teacher kill Yuīchi as well?

probably chasing a small plane beneath cloudy weather would prove too difficult and time consuming? He was in an escort mission after all
What is it called
The sky crawlers, can't you see it in the title?
