busch gardens williamsburg in williamsburg, virginia

holiday world in santa claus, indiana
islands of adventure in orlando, florida

six flags great adventure in jackson, new jersey
valleyfair in shakopee, minnesota
worlds of fun in kansas city, missouri
My bad for calling Kumba an Arrow looper at 24:00, it's a B&M looper.
Ignore my comment about that then
I had the best time at Kings Island! I have more fun there then Cedar Point because of the atmosphere a long with the rides. Diamondback is fantastic in the back row! Orion I’d a speed machine. I know I complain about GCI’s but Mystic Timbers is so good! The first drop sucks but the rest of the ride is a wild airtime machine and the night ride was incredible. The Beast is amazing day or night. Gravity Group did a fantastic job on the restoration of it. I loved the front row and the back row. Flight Of Fear is great especially on a hot day. Racer is a great widow with some underrated airtime in the back row. Backlot was fun just like the other clones for a family coaster. The blue ice cream is yummy and the park is charming. I really love The Arrows too like The Bat and Adventure Express. Invertigo was really surprising as it was intense and smooth for a Vekoma. So much to enjoy at this fantastic park. I’m glad you have it At number one and that you had a great experience.
Kings Island is probably my favorite park. I find myself sometimes being more willing to drive the 4 hours to KI over the hour and a half to CP. CP has them beat on the rides, but the park experience can not be matched by any park within about a 5 or 6 hour drive.
Mystic is not overrated. In fact, i dont think its rated high enough on a lot of peoples "rankings"
I agree all the way.
It Is A Bit Overrated But Still My Second Favorite GCi After Renegade
King’s Dominion is fantastic. I love I305, Twisted Timbers, Grizzly in the back row. Anaconda is over hated but I love old Arrow coasters
I love the original Intamin drop towers. When I was growing up they where everywhere at all the parks I visited in the 89’s and 90’s
I couldn’t agree more with the ranking for worlds of fun dorney and vallyfair they are underrated
For sure.
My parks this year ranked
1. BGW
2. BGT
3. Islands
4. Sea world Orlando
5. Kings Dominion
6. Carowinds
7. Six flags over GA
8.universal studios Florida
9. Fun spot america Atlanta
Nice ranking.
Thanks for such a fun review. Always interesting to hear someone else's notes.
Glad you liked this!
Bro called Kumba an Arrow Looper 💀
I think this might be the second time I’ve done that. I think I just say the words “Arrow looper” too much and it’s become habit.
@@ThemeParkAvenue yeah
@@ThemeParkAvenue I thought it might have been on purpose, haha.
I went o Dollywood a couple months ago with my family and I was surprised by the fact that I got to ride every ride in the park except great bear. here are my top 5 coasters
1.thunderhead
2.wild eagle
3.lightning rod (objective)
4.tennesse tornado
5.mystery mine
Nice list.
Poor lighting rod
I’m a California native specifically San Diego. I think California Great America. I love Railblazer & Demon. I think Gold Striker is just okay. I think GCI’s are hit or miss especially with their weak first drops. I find this park just meh overall
I’ve heard the flipping on dragon slayer is insane
It is.
@@ThemeParkAvenueI have Dollywood as my home park and I’m thankful for it!
Wolverine Wildcat is a great ride. Heavily underrated
I thought it was already but bumpy after the first drop.
@ThemeParkAvenue yeah, it can be bumpy but still gives a really good ride in my opinion. I'd have it at second in the park
It’s crazy to see so many people choose my home park as their favorite, it’s unreal
It’s on the rise.
CPs better. Mystic carries KI
You should make a theme park battle against cedar point versus hersheypark
Do you think Dollywood is worth it without lightning rod?
I would have to say yes.
Islands of Adventure and Busch Gardens Williamsburg were my favorites this year, glad to see them ranked pretty high. I gotta go visit those top 3, I'm heading to BGT next year
Kin's Island is the best park I visited this year too, the other two being Carowinds and California's Great America, all three times separate trips from Surrey. B.C. a suburb of Vancouver Canada. The only park that compares to Kings Island that I've visited is Cedar Point and that I visited 5 years ago. Thanks for posting!
I absolutely love Dollywood! The nicest employees on par with Disneyland. Great food and atmosphere. I especially love Lightning Rod and I rode it when it first opened so the launch was way faster. I think Tennessee Tornado is amazing. TT has one of the best first drops in the back row. Not much will make my stomach drop anymore but TT totally gets me in the gut which is fabulous. Mystery Mine is wild! I have not been on it with the new Track profile though. Fire Chaser Express is so fun, I like Verbolten like that too. Wild Eage is really good and underrated. Thunderhead is just okay like a lot of GCI’s. Gravity Group makes way better drops then GCI…they took the best parts of CCI and improved on them so much. I can’t wait to go back and ride the new Bear coaster. We stayed in this awesome cabin by Dollywood that had a jacuzzi in each room. We had such a great time exploring Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. So much great food and fun mountain coasters. I definitely can’t wait to return.
You make the best videos in the community
Thanks! I hope this one is worth the wait.
The Voyage is my all time number 1 coaster. I love the back and front. I usually only like the back
I grew up near Holiday World. It's amazing and so is the Voyage.
Dollywood sorta hurt my thoughts on Silver Dollar City. I went there expecting it to be better than Dollywood from enthusiasts opinions. It's not.
SDC is like the Kings Dominion to Dollywood's Kings Island.
Had a great time, and enjoyed the lantern light cave tour. But the park is definitely smaller than Dollywood.
Also, I think Dollywood strikes the perfect balance of theming and functionality. Stuff like having ride wait time TV monitors scattered across the park. Takes away theming, but incredibly useful. Only reason I got a night ride on Lightning Rod.
My Rankings I've Mostly Been To Family Parks Though With A Couple Of Chain Owned Parks This Is Only Counting Parks I Haven't Been To Until This Year
13 Little AmerICka
12 Santa Monica Beach Boardwalk
11 Casino Pier
10 Frontier City
9 Coney Island
8 Great Escape
7 Six Flags Darien Lake
6 Bay Beach (Loved This Place More Then I Should)
5 Mt Olympus
4 Kentucky Kingdom
3 Worlds Of Fun
2 Canada's Wonderland (Yes I Haven't Been To One Of The Most Famous Parks Ever Until 2023)
1 Seaworld Orlando (I Thought This Park Had A Really Strong Lineup With Kraken Mako Manta Icebreaker And Pipeline)
When. I Talk About Family Parks I Mean Independent Parks
El Tori is one of my favorites but the last time I rode it I got stapled and the way the restraints are they push into where I had a liver transplant. I had tears coming down my face because I was in so much pain
I love your videos! thanks for the rating
Sure thing!
Prowler, Mamba and Timber Wolf are awesome at Worlds Of Fun. I went this last summer and we went on a day that was empty so everything was a walk on. We didn’t have to deal with bad operations
Cedar point was the best one I went to this year I loved everything about it!
Lightning Run is in my top 30 out of almost 1000 credits. I love the back row on that coaster. Storm Chaser is pretty good and would be better if it had a better first drop. I think T3 gets over hated. I like the restraints much better then the originals
Great video! I enjoyed watching! Kings Islands supporting coasters are so good and varied! The Boomerang next year will probably be fun too!
Thanks! I’m excited for the boomerang as well.
@@ThemeParkAvenue Yes, definitely! It'll be a fun coaster!
Of the ones I've been to last seaaon, it's Holiday World, followed by Dollywood, Kings Island, Six Flags Great America, Valleyfair, Indiana Beach, and Kentucky Kingdom.
Solid list.
I loved Steel Force because I got trim-less rides so the airtime was phenomenal. I also loved Excalibur at Valleyfair.
Great list! Its hard to rank my favorite parks, but I'd say my favorite parks I went to this year are Magic Kingdom, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, EPCOT Kings Dominion, and Six Flags Great Adventure. I need another visit to Islands of Adventure to get a better feel for it. I only rode the three major coasters, Dudley Do Right's Ripsaw Falls, and the Spider-Man ride. The other Disney parks are awesome too. They have an incredible atmosphere and so many impressive and relatively unique attractions. I didn't visit Busch Gardens Tampa, but I feel like it would be similar to Dollywood and Busch Gardens Williamsburg in terms of quality. I visited Dollywood in 2022, so that's why it's not on my list.
24:01
No, that’s A B&M looper
( just being a nerd, I know you made a mistake)
Overall my favorite park is BGW
Then Silver Dollar City and King's Island
King's Island is the best Cedar Fair park and I will die on that hill. Cedar Point is not an incredible park just cuz it has alot of coasters. Magic Mountain has the most coasters and its still a shit
park. Cedar Point ia barely in my top 10 parks and thats because Frontier Village with Maverick and SteVe save it. Otherwise its just a giant paved carnival with no trees.
I got a little emotional when you said Kings Island was your favorite park. It is my home park and I have been there more times than any other park. It is one of three parks I have actually worked at...Holiday World and Busch Gardens Williamsburg being the other two parks. I agree with you, Diamondback is my favorite B & M hyper and Orion has the best drop, albeit longer along with Diamondback. I also love Dollywood and Holiday World because of the lack of Corporate and IP presence. I love a park whose atmosphere, theming and ride names stand on their own creativity (Kings Island falls under that category now...not so when Paramount owned them).
It’s a wonderful place.
@@ThemeParkAvenue It IS a wonderful place! Kings Island is responsible for the resurgence of coasters when it opened in 1972. This park pretty much has it all...great coasters and great theming!! If you watch coaster channels that have been here and reviewed it...most say that this is probably the best regional theme park in the U.S. They have great, friendly employees who deliver great dispatch times on the coasters. Their food is good and is still improving. This year they added Enrique's in Adventure Port, a Mexican restaurant where you watch them make your own burrito. And on International Street this year they also added Grain and Grill, a restaurant that features Eastern European and Mediterranean cuisine. This park is tough to beat!!!
@@ThemeParkAvenue Airtime Thrills, a good, reliable coaster channel on UA-cam produced a 50th anniversary video entitled "The History of Kings Island (1972-2022) - The Complete Documentary." If you love this park and want to see how it all started and how it evolved into the amazing park it is today, I suggest you watch it!!

How exactly is steel venom better than possessed ? Theyre exactly the same coaster
No they’re not, Steel Venom has a holding brake on the back spike that stops you for a second, allowing you to fall forward into your seat. That doesn’t happen on Possessed anymore.
@ThemeParkAvenue still tho b. Doe the break make it better?
@@robw5741 absolutely, it’s the most thrilling part of the ride.
@ThemeParkAvenue idk the difference kid me season pass loved superman
@ThemeParkAvenue but they're literary the same ride got it on am" off day"
