- I don't own the rights! It belongs to Incubus and Epic Records. "Surface To Air" is an outtake from Incubus' seventh studio album If Not Now When? Since the band just celebrated the records tenth anniversary over the past week I thought I'd upload some of the records bonus tracks since they're not on streaming services and aren't even uploaded by the band themselves on youtube. This track was initially more accessible in its availability upon the records release, since it was included as a pre-order bonus track from the record, as well as being included in the Japanese and Australian versions of the album, and included in the Best Buy deluxe edition of Incubus' 2012 live album HQ Live.

Not sure why this song was removed from spotify but it's in my opinion incubus's best song.
Super underrated. Rebel Girls' also another super awesome outtake from this album.

This has to be the biggest Incubus mystery, or for me at least, that this gem didn’t make the album. It should of been the single from If Not Now When

It was the first song they started playing live from those sessions if memory serves. It was SHOCKING when the tracklist came out and that song was absent. INNW would have been elevated by including all three outtakes, a resentencing, and nixing The Original.

Absolutely true. One of their very best. Should have been on the album and would have been the best song on it. I can’t imagine why you would want to hide a treasure like this from the public. It’s heavily underrated and overlooked. It should be available on streaming services.

Funny how i dont know this song as i have written a song also named Surface to Air. Ha , what a coincidence.
It’s insane to me that this song wasn’t on arguably their most disappointing album. It would’ve been the only light among a tracklist of duds. And they should’ve added “Hold Me Down” as well.
