    I have the X75 /70.3 Hi 6500 K at 6700 lumens, what a beast and it maintains it’s maximum light levels better than any of them on the market. I also have the Imaleant SR16 which I love because it throws like a monster, but let me reiterate,it just can’t hold the times like the X75.🔦🔦💪

    I agree this x75 will serve the search and rescue well. In my novice opinion, the average of 15000 lumens 30 minutes runtime should speak for itself.
    What i have in mind is this kind of tempered regulation should also applied to flashlight that on the thrower side, less emmitter, larger reflector cups. More R&D in the reflector, since now there are many high performance flat led.
    A good cooling system is a must for high powered flashlight. And those exposed copper heatsink... they do mean bussiness.
    Cheers🔦

    What a flashlight! And, what a great review! The inclusion of the runtime graphs mean everything. That shows how useful the light is. Most reviews simply demonstrate the 1st 10 seconds of light burst, fun yes but not practical.

    Interesting that they put a reset button on the battery pack. I had a problem with my x50 not wanting to take charge about a week ago and it would not turn on at all ( I was furious 🤬) so I plugged in my usb-c cable from my phone to see if that would do anything and the charging light on the battery pack came on for a second and then turned off again
    so I unplugged that cable and plugged the ab cable back into it and it started taking a charge again. Also had a problem with my ab x70 battery pack about a year ago. Basically just disassembled it to see if I could find anything wrong but didn’t so reassembled it and started taking a charge again. So as I said, I find it very interesting they put a reset button on the x75 battery pack.

    • @FlashlightEnthusiast
      @FlashlightEnthusiast  2 роки тому

      Yes indeed. Second generation X50 already had it, and now X75. I heard some reports about X50 being stuck after fully discharging battery pack. Then lower power source had to be used to activate it. Seem like your case though....

    • @PiercingTheDarkness
      @PiercingTheDarkness 2 роки тому +1

      @@FlashlightEnthusiast had issues with my X75 not taking a charge, but I put that down to not discharging it enough between charges. The reset switch did nothing at all in this case. Tried different power bricks and cables, and it would only take a charge after using it a bit more. I forgot to mention this in my review.

    They make this like in a 6500k and a 5000k version. Would you say the 6500k has a bluish tint and the 5000k is more "white"?

      @FlashlightEnthusiast  2 місяці тому +1

      In general yes, in the Acebeam X50 I had 5000K which was a bit yellowish even, so I presume it would be the same in X75. For sucht high power light I would go with 6500K personally

    • @FlashlightEnthusiast
      @FlashlightEnthusiast  Рік тому +2

      Afternoon, thank you for a good question. Personally after I've seen X75 on XHP70.3 Hi yesterday I would only consider this version. It is still more floody then SR16, however is superior to it when it comes to sustainable output. So I would pick SR16 for better throw and slightly more compact size (you can detach the handle and use the side button) but X75 for better performance, output and powerbank function - and you can get a longer battery pack. Hope that helps, you could let me know your needs, it would be easier to decide ;)

I ask because I also have the 3.5 inch and only got 54K, Matt Smith used a 6 inch with Maukka also and only measured 57,900. I sold my X75 already so can't test anymore, but just super interested if you still used the maukka calibration.

      No, I have the 3.5 inch version, so I had to improvise a bit with this particular light, yet nothing that would stop me from being within the accuracy range. I don't believe Texas Ace got it calibrated from Maukka, but I a mgetting pretty close results to other members, so I wouldn't be particularly concerned about that.
