As an Arsenal fan I was bitter when he left, but looking back and seeing how it all unfolded, I forgive him. The memories he brought us fans, his ability to make everyone around him look world class or just pull the game in our favour at the right time. He is missed and I can only imagine how he would have faired with Auba by his side. Also would have been a great mentor for up and coming attackers like Saka and Martinelli. Gracias Alexis, thanks for the memories.

One of the greatest all round footballers I have ever seen in the PL at the top of his game, he could do everything, dribbling, control, composure, power, clinical finisher from almost any angle. Amazing. Win games all by himself. One player who you can say came across to the PL and was in a completely different league himself.

He literally made Arsenal a threat all by himself. Nowadays you play against Arsenal and if you’re at least a decent team you have a good chance. When Sanchez was in that team though there was true fear, he could win the game for them all by himself, not just with one goal though, man could easily bag a hat trick if he wanted to. He had the aggression, desire, fight, confidence + all of the above you already mentioned. Unplayable. Definitely a premier league great, I wish he stayed at Arsenal/went to city.

that's right, the agility he has to receive from the back and at the same time take off the defender just by controlling and turning, a beast of a player. that's his move.
This type of movement is specially common in chilean football, I don’t know if that’s why Alexis does it so much or we do it because of him

What every defender hates is unpredictable lateral movement. Messi being the absolute master of this.

Its not too often players come into the PL and are in a completely different class, but Alexis was when he was playing like that at Arsenal. It was an absolute privilege to watch him. As far as all round goal scorers, incredible player whom I will always respect. One of the greatest goal scorers I have ever seen (apart from the obvious players). Incredible skill, close control, shoot from virtually anywhere and decent with his head.
