Just installed a starter on my 05 Pacifica....WHAT A PAIN !! Still have the problem. I saw on UA-cam a guy put an extra ground cable. Going to try it first, if not....will go through your plan. Thanks a lot !
Do you have any idea I have a Chrysler 06 Pacifica added groungchanged coil packs and plugs Cam sensor crank sensor and still have iterates no spark and no fuel won't start was driving down road and it died wontstart list need help thanks
Not 100% sure but look at #6 in this forum: www.chryslerforum.com/forum/chrysler-pacifica-15/pacifica-no-spark-issues-18873/ Seems like a likely suspect. If there is a broken wire I would plan on replacing several inches of wire depending on corrosion
@@minnesotagearhead6612 thanks I will check the wires I jumped the relay and fuel pump would stay on and checked the wire feeding the fuel injectors they have power checked with just my little prob light at the main connection bright light but at rail dim I think might be a break but not all the wsy thur and no fuel at rail maybe fuel filter pump is working
If your getting theft codes that would tell me the ecu isn't reading you chip key. Could be the receiver ring around the ignition switch or the anti theft system has a failure elsewhere.
@midwestIAboy I've never done it on a chrysler, but I'd imagine if you get clever you could probably make it work with a toggle switch and some push buttons. If it runs the fuel pump with the key in the on position, you just need to activate the starter (pushbutton) if it cranks but no fuel, then supply power to the fuel pump.
@midwestIAboy I'm pretty sure I inadvertently bypassed the pats system on my wife's explorer when the fuel pump wouldn't turn on. Haven't confirmed for sure yet, but... it seems that way.
@@minnesotagearhead6612 I do get power to pump but I'm pretty sure the theft is not making the ignition or coil packs spark the fuel and I got throttle body code I'm sure it has to with the theft system

No problem! Yeah it's not a fun starter job... extra grounds never really hurt.

Thanks

Did u ever figure out the problem? Mine is doing exactly as u describe
How do you not get theft codes I rn I'm getting theft codes and it making the car not want to start

@@minnesotagearhead6612 is there a way to bypass it because I want to use my 07 Pacifica as a side by side so I'm not too worried about running a key
