Every how-to video should be this informative. Great camera angles to see exactly what he's doing. Step by step instructions for an easy job. Thank You!
I'll toss my 2 cents in this video. First of all it was well done! BUT- there are some things that were skipped because this video is absolutely the Best Case Scenario. Remember that rubber plug that he told you to keep and reuse on the new rotor? THAT is the real fun!!! Most likely your old rotor won't just slide off. That is where that plug comes into play. The rear brakes on the 200 have a dual purpose- you have the disc brakes that slow your car on the outside of the rotor. You also have drum brakes on the inside of the rotor for the E brake. You have to put the position of the plug (and remove it) in the correct position to insert a screwdriver to drive the drum brake far enough back to get the rotor to release. The position of the "star screw" is different on the driver side compared to the passenger side. It is a total pain in the ass and I never set the drum brake pads because I never have a use for the E brake anyway.
Make sure e-break is off, and do not hit the dust shield. They don't manufacture that anymore. I am going through the pain of having done that. Hopefully I didn't loose my car for the sake of a rusted dust shield. (Can't get it safetied)
It's funny you go from "we aren't going to remove the top bolt, we're just going to flip the caliper up" and then it cuts to the next scene with the entire caliper removed lol. So how do you remove that bolt if a wrench isn't an option?

when pressing the piston back with clamps, you don't need to open reservoir cap? doesn't it mess with the ABS system??

Does rotor size matter when buying brakes auto zone asked me
Do you leave the cap on the brake oil reservoir on or off when you collapse the brake caliper?
Thanks bro!!! Saved alot of time
So you don't need to loosen the upper guide pin to removed the caliper!?

@@TRQ great video mister. Thank you.
Thank you king
Great video thanks
I think you should have probably sprayed the surface where the e. Break touches the rotor not just the. Regular part where the caliper sets.
What is the rotor size
Very helpful video, great presentation. Thank you.
