I remember there being such a mystery around Cam Ward, for sure, being in college for 2024. Am I remembering that wrong? That you weren’t just competing against the other schools ahead of the end of that early portal period, but the potential loss of him to the NFL. That if you went after Ward, lost Thorne, Auburn might have been up a creek without a paddle
So Zac would also not be stoked by Arch Manning??? He hasn't proven anything. So getting an unproven Maalik Murphy coming out of Texas would be way less stoked than 1 year later?? Maalik played in a clearly easier conference than did Jackson. Maalik threw for a lower pct and had a lower TD/int ratio. To me, Maalik would be my 2nd choice to Jackson. But different opinions are as valuable as mine.
Guys it's like this one thing I have heard y'all say since the day Arnold signed with Auburn that he didn't put up the big passing numbers because being pulled second half of first game of the season for throwing interceptions, he had 3 picks the whole season right with if I can remember or close to it passing yards was around 1200 to 1300 yard's and that's because of so many things not just because coaches were worried of him turning the football over, it was Many things bad coordinator, injuries were about More than any other team around the country, so when he got out back in the game again he didn't turn the ball over again and Oklahoma called mostly running plays, ok now I got all that out here is what I wish everyone who has been not to thrilled about us signing Arnold, think about this we already know freeze is a 65% passing 35% running kinda opposite of how malzahn ran his offense, to me I am only worried about one issue next season and it's with how freeze call's plays again and since knowing he has to get it right next year, if somehow he isn't totally satisfied with how Arnold during spring and fall is with his passing and to me I seen his highschool videos and his freshman year staring end of season with Oklahoma, hey the dude can spin it in the offense he has always been used to running and that is freeze offense, see look back and think about what costed Auburn the losses last season lot of turnovers interceptions mainly, I don't see Arnold turning the ball over how Thorn did plus if passing isn't going to good in some games I feel really good with us running the ball to win games, no major turnovers we would have went 8-4 or better
The reasonable concern of Auburn fans is that Freeze won't build offensive scheme around the personnel he has. I think a good strategy for next year would be build offense around power run game, mixing in RPO. It's safe and can get you to 8 or so wins. I doubt Hugh will do that but we will see.
I'm fine with the Jackson Arnold signing so long as there is a legit competition for the starting job. They gotta fix the o line before anything else. The rest of the pieces are there on offense. Just have to put it all together.
We swapped Walker White for Jackson Arnold 🤯🤯🤯 I hate this so much. I don't know if I can handle anymore. If Deuce leaves because of Jackson. Am out man. Ill root for the tigers. But in a 2022 kind of way. If that makes sense
I honestly think Hank Brown and Walker White are both better than Jackson Arnold. Call me a hater but I think we should reward young guys that stick with us. Walker should be the QB1 next year. Also if this was Matter rather than Jackson. I would be hyped
Do you remember all the hype for Arnold in the pre season . But there was also concern for OU 's offensive line.
I like the statistics numbers, gives you a different perspective. WDE!
I need y’all on spotify that’s where I listen to locked on auburn
Malik averaged over 15 carries a game in his senior season at Liberty. Hugh definitely runs his quarterback

Where do I find these commitment video?
I'm not thrilled about it, but it is what it is and there's nothing anyone can do about it. So might as well get on board. War Eagle!
What would the list of proven qbs in the portal this year? Looks like a very short list.
Air Noland entered today. I'd love to see him go to Auburn! There was mutual interest before he committed to OSU
Auburn should have been patient now he not gone come cause Jackson Arnold here
@@Beenhavin007Air Nolan’s has NO !!!! game experience NO game experience

Offensive tackle addition is already a huge start to improving the line
@chrisalexander1274 yeah the guy out of Va Tech looks legit. They aren't done at QB either, especially after White entered the portal.
Competition??? Nope. Hasn’t been one of those since HF been here lol hence why all the QBs are gone

Sorry but Mateer would be a much better option than Arnold - unless Arnold miraculously starts making quicker decisions
Who has Washington State played
