You did a wonderful job explaining all the steps as well as showing how easy it is to sew! It was fun! Thank you!!
You are so welcome! Glad you enjoyed it 💛
Hi, you are my new best friend. I have been looking all weekend for a video on "How to sew a kids apron". You have explain the directions on how to sew this apron very clearly and simple. Very easy to follow along for a person who is just beginning to sew. I'm loving it. Thank you! I will be watching more of your videos. Thank you🥇⚜❤❤😊 Anastasia O
You are so welcome! I’m so glad we are friends now!! Thanks so much for this sweet comment 💛💛💛
I love the easiness of the pattern. I actually don't think you need a pattern. It would've been helpful to know how long and how wide the straps were and how much fabric was used for the body.
You definitely could do it without a Pattern but just in case people didn’t want to make their own. I wanted to offer this free version.
Wow! The dowel/straw tip is brilliant.
I’m so glad you found it helpful. Thank you for watching!
I’m just learning to sew and this is so helpful. I appreciate that you showed how you stitched. Not many do that. Thank you for this! I can’t wait to make my kids aprons.
I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you so much for watching! It’s nice to hear you like the close up of stitching. 💛
Thank for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I was wondering if you would do a tutorial on the oven mitts that come with this pattern
I did do a tutorial on the oven mitts, you can see that here: ua-cam.com/video/-HhwLW2oou0/v-deo.htmlsi=_NuFPbVu4AQkYdby
I love this video. You are very good at explaining this tutorial. Can you give the measurements? I don't have access to a printer.
Thank you!! It isn’t my pattern so I can’t give it out for free. I would check out a public library or try and draw your own out if you can’t get to a printer!
It’s lovely! You could make this size with a couple of fat squares 😊
That’s a great idea! And so many options! Thanks for watching!
Thanks
Thank you for watching!
I loved this! I’m going to try. I’m so nervous.
You can do it!! It’s a great beginner project. Make sure to use an iron cause that will really help you get the crisp nice looking seams! You’ve got this 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
@@mysewbliss I did it! My little boy loves it! He loves to bake with me and he gets so excited to wear his little Tonka Truck apron.
you don't need to pay $5 for a pattern. Just measure your child (or adult) from the neck to the hip for the length and side to side for the width. I have sewn aprons by sewing a line down the curved sides to create a channel to insert a strap which is then adjustable and tie to the back.
That is true. But sometime people like it as easy as possible and if that means buying a $5 pattern then have at it! You can also get this pattern for free if you join the companies Facebook page and get the code. So really it’s free and then you don’t have to think about it at all. And some people don’t have a child to measure they are just making it as a gift. Just some food for thought. I like the idea of creating a channel. I’ll have to try that next time!
So it isn't free.
I tried to get the free kids apron pattern by subscribing to the Facebook page but can’t find it anywhere. I’ve looked thru 300 post of pictures but no pattern. I need to make this by Thursday.
How or where do you find free pattern. You made this look so fun.
Glad you enjoyed this! You can find the code for the free pattern on the Facebook page of peek a boo pattern shop! Once you join the group it is posted in the announcements section! 💛
I couldn't find the free pattern and will it work for a 5 year old?
It is t free I found it and it's £5
How many inches for an 8 year old?
briliant!!!
Thank you so much. 💛💛
Please make the video on the oven mitts
I just recently posted the oven mitt tutorial! I hope you enjoy it, here is the link ua-cam.com/video/-HhwLW2oou0/v-deo.html
Where is the pattern to print
The link is to a pattern that costs $5. Is it no longer free?
You can join the newsletter to get it for free
If you join the newsletter or the Facebook page for the pattern company you will get access to the pattern for free. I hope that helps! Thank you for watching 💛
I don't see any measurements for the straps and for the neck?
In the first pattern piece you print out it lists what to cut for the neck strap, elastic, and waist strap! Hope that helps 💛
@@mysewbliss I was going to make a bigger size for 9 years old.. What's the measurement for straps would you recommend?
I can not find the free pattern, only one that costs $5?? Link for the free one please??
You have to be apart of there Facebook group to get the pattern for free.
Where’s the FREE pattern please?
The Apron pattern can be found here:
www.peekaboopatternshop.com/tiny-chef-apron-toy-oven-mitt/?aff=594
To get it for free you need to join the sites Facebook page or email list and you will get the code to get a handful of patterns for free including this apron pattern! It’s so great! 💛 I hope this helps, thanks for watching
