Fab work on point but be cautious about the wiring. Just broke down because the alt wasn't operating as it should. Definitely will be reviewing the conversion
Great video. Basically followed it step by step to do the same conversion on my car. It was easy to follow and insightful though my car is an SR. Since an RB and SR use the same alternator it all worked out.
Remember, more voltage isn't what you're looking for with an alternator upgrade, it's more Amperes... You're battery has a set voltage range, more amps at that range will charge it faster and provide more power to your components. I got a 110A Tiida alternator that I put on a QG15 and if I short a particular wire, output goes from 13.7 to 15.4V (which is bad, and will boil the battery water if given enough time)
Bro I put a tiida 140 amp on my libero today and its charging at 14.7 v on your wiring disconnect the orange wire from the alternator that makes it charge low that orange is for the brain box on hr15 vehicle ok

Proper video ....check back the wiring tho ..... most swaps I see use one wire and get 14.8 including mines 💯👌
