    The shit judges say when they look at collections always sounds insane: "Her outlook on life is exciting but not too challenged, I feel like she understands the cross plains in an alternate universe while maintaining her squares, both intellectually and internationally, which is reflected in the patterns she emulates through flares that show she's lonely and also suffocating in her own creative license." - I'm like what the fuck are you talking about it's just a pair of jeans lol

      Jamir Blanding and she dresses horribly. She promoted patriarchy and sexism and low self esteem among women for decades. She couldn't draw or make a cloth even if her life depended on it, she doesn't even have enough personality to criticize the powerful and ended up sucking up to the Kardashians (among others), she wears the same haircut, dresses, eye glasses and jewelry since ever but she is supposed to be fashion god 🙄

      @@Ema-nt3gp Being an editor for vogue is sort of like being Walt Disney. He was the idea man, and his job was to approve and move on.
      You don't necessarily have to have the skills or talent like the people around you, but you have to have an eye.
      Anna Wintour knows what she's doing, and although I don't always agree with her, she's the boss, not me, and not you either.

      I actually thought they liked the collection but had some reservations on the presentation or the commercial feasibility of the whole outfit (pun unintended!). Perhaps the video was kind of edited in a way that didn't quite show us the full picture :)

      Absolutely, and at least 1 judge,
      Von Furstenburg, should have recognized the, albeit gimmicky, mass appeal potential. She seems to have forgotten she made it big also on a gimmicky idea, the wrap dress. They loved Adam but he’s to hipster and quirky to make mass market even with Rihanna as a customer. STAMPD is also a nearly sure bet. The way the designer described it’s broad potential was spot on.

    To be honest? All of the designs they presented weren't... original? and its just my personal opinion, but they were boring, only maybe some pieces of Ji Oh's collection were nice. I know its an old video, but still, I can remember seen some of those things on the internet years ago and they didn't have their names on it.

    I sat next to Wintour and chatted twice at Japanese Restaurants in Manhattan, and she was about as down to earth as anyone. I think she hams it up a bit for the cameras.

    The attitude of these judges is so gross. They are literally laughing at the designers and making fun of them snidely. I hate when people think they are so high up they can treat normal people like this. Snobbery at its finest.

    It's such a great great pitch...i love the cashmere socks, textile imprints (very techy), as well as the glasses/warby parker type offshoot. And the lingerie is always so Stella. :) xx

    It's interesting but cringing to watch the top dogs of fashion (the judges) have little diversity amongst them. It tells alot about accessibility within the fashion industry: it's a dominant white world.

      Batoul Asd well, fashion exists to make money for designers. All those judges will grant a sum of money toa designer what will be able to multiply it So there can be revenue and expanding. Thus it's crucial to make commercial comments.
