Mira Royal Detective - The Behind The Scenes

Mira, Royal Detective will premiere in the U.S. on Friday, March 20 ,Disney Channel India will also be premiering a sneak-peek that same day, followed by the series premiere on Sunday, March 22. Set in the magical Indian-inspired land of Jalpur, the series introduces a brave and resourceful girl named Mira, a commoner who is appointed to the role of royal detective by the queen.

To be honest, this show makes a kid at heart and it does an incredible job of not only giving education to the kids, but it represents the Indian culture in a respectful manner, not to mention that its done so well and one of things that I like is Mikku and Chikku due to the fact that they are very similar to Timon and Pumbaa from the Lion King franchise where one is arrogant while the other is impulsive which is quite clever.

I love how now animation companies r starting to make more shows for kids that focus on different foreign cultures, like how last year PBS KIDS released Molly of Denali which is the first nationally distributed kids show featuring a Native American main character: Molly!
