🎯. Even the Elks after continuing with a miserable streak from last season have now found a rhythm that has them competitive. I’m happy for their fans and the league.
At ~6:40 listen to the roar of the crowd as Collaros gets sacked. People love good D. That’s why it ticks me off that the league and the refs seem to be favouring O over D with bogus ‘roughing the passer’ calls. I love good O. I love good D as well! Don’t favour one over the other.
Both the NFL and CFL believe that only high scoring games are entertaining, so the offence gets a lot of blind looks while the D is highly scrutinized.
@matt I don’t know NFL so much but totally agree with your take as far as at least the CFL goes. Offensive pass interference? What’s that? Defensive pass interference or ‘roughing the passer’? Oh we know what that is and we throw the flags. I’m not against good O. I just want balance between O and D and you get it.
@@mikedavison3400 same. I really hate it when these ticky tack calls are made to keep drives alive. Soon it'll be illegal to touch a QB (unless its Zach) It really hurts the game.
To be honest, I think the concern is more over the potential harm to the QB. There was a piece done a while ago when Bo Levi Mitchell got his injury on third and short that the league has to do something to protect the QBs, who are such a pivotal piece to the game, including penalizing infractions and adding more infractions to the list; basically penalizing so much as looking at the QB sideways. I disagree with it, certainly. I think the solution is to have two stellar QBs of similarly good quality continuously rotated instead of putting all your apples in one basket...and then the third-string QB should handle third and short situations.

I’m from Winnipeg, and I can tell you it’s SUPER ANNOYING!! It’s like talking about a goaltender who currently has a shutout. EVERY thing they say, the EXACT OPPOSITE happens. I shut most TSN broadcasts off. Matt Dumnigan is the best. Just says WHAT IS CURRENTLY GOING ON

Winnipeg Blue Bombers didn't really need to win this. Sometimes being a team that knows it can can kick butt, decides that certain teams or games aren't worth it. Especially the East. It can be affordable to lose. Both Hamilton Tiger Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers finished with a 15-3 record but their Grey Cup matches in 2019 for Hamilton and 2022 for Winnipeg. So being the best in the regular season doesn't always mean that you will win the Cup in the end.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers held off a Winnipeg Blue Bomber comeback, and beat the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
So, @ 8:25 It's Winnipeg Blue Bombers 29 - 23 Winnipeg Blue Bombers!! Ooops ! LOL!!
Taylor Powell has been looking more and more comfortable
Exactly. Nathan who? Or Bo Whatchamacallit. LOL!
The Tiger Cats embarrassed the Lions in BC 2 weeks ago. Now they did the Lions a favour today. Well done Hamilton.

Only 2 points for a touchdown after a missed field goal. Is it really worth the effort?

It's a convert. They missed 1 point on kicking the football and running it in the other end makes it a 2 point play. A 3 point play.
