Those trees ain't nothing but a time bomb waiting to go off! I remembered one fell out of no where at Chollas lake in front of me and my daughter, and right in the middle of the path where every jogger be passing. Luckily it didn't fall on no one and from there on, I lectured my daughter to never put on both headphone while running anywhere underneath a giant tree. Those trees are also flammable, I don't see what's the use for it, when we can plant something else native for shades and breeze
Stay safe! We had this problem up here in the Bay Area earlier in the month, with landslides too. It’s the trees with shallow roots like eucalyptus and redwoods that will easily fall over in windy conditions. Oak trees can come down too because they’re so top heavy.
Glad to hear that woman is expected to recover, being 30 years young, this should be the best part of her life, not one fraught with permanent injury!........Um, can I have some of that wood, please?
I get this is a joke comment but there are actually maintenance regulations about trees, especially that large, that are supposed to be followed but are often ignored. So...yeah, if people followed the regulations. Edit: I'm actually not entirely sure with this tree with it being in Balboa Park, but the crews did decide to cut the other tree too that was posing a risk.
In the city of Whittier, CA, Beverly Blvd. has a stretch with some really tall trees on both sides. There always cleaning up the pine needles and warning people of falling sap. I guess it'll take something like this to get their attention.
OMG that’s a huge tree. Thank God she’s recovering. It’s a healthy tree, the trunk wood looked good. Wonder what’s causing all those trees to start coming down.
Tallahassee FL trees fall down frequently everywhere. Hike around in a forest there's many you can push down with one hand! City , home and business owners never do anything about it.
First, too much rain in Cali causing mud/land slides and unprecedented floodings. And now, trees are falling.... it's obvious that Nature has gone AMOK!
Now it’s time to get rid of all the trees!!!! They are already over trimming trees down to the trunk and three main limbs that will soon die. I hope the lady is doing okay. When nature is stronger than we are, we should stay away from dangerous areas to avoid possible injury and just stay home.
@@voiceofraisin241 lmao... So you're a tree expert? Tell me more... Please... What would I know. I've only been an arborist for the last 18 years... Trust me, you hear it coming. Unless you're walking with ear buds in your ears listening to music, taking selfies.
Wow they'll close the park for high winds cuz trees might fall but they won't close the hiking trails that are treacherous and dangerous in the winter time LMAO. Good choices California
Prayers for the woman who got injured from the fallen tree. Hope she feels better very soon.

If the winds are a blowing, stay away from all trees.
Not all tree's are bad sweetheart.
Saturated soil, + strong Santa Ana winds = 💥💥💥

Stop the trees!
Ban all trees!
Trolls alert!

Sometimes the roots aren't able to hold it. :(
Good day to stay inside!
Eucalyptus trees are known in the insurance industry as “widow makers”.

Whose bright idea was to plant eucalyptus trees all over the city?
so you're looking for someone to blame...? lol....that figures.
Uh oh! Let me see your papers to ensure you are here legally! 💀
Those trees are old, the people that planted them dead.

That's some great firewood. 🔥
The Ents have awakenend and they want justice for their fallen friends.
But the oaks ignore their pleas and they grab up all the light.
Damn, that would have been a fun jog though the park dodging trees. 😅
Is the Lamppost okay?
It's a windy day . Pay attention you goofs.
Don’t blame her, she’s a woman! They don’t know better.
Eucalyptus🙄Australian tree🤷♀️
Cutting tree is dangerous job too.
When it’s windy stay away from eucalyptus trees they grow fast and the wood is weak. Wind commonly will cause breakage. “The more you know!”
Why didn't you trim

Throw out the baby with the bathwater! Falling trees will take out your house & you with it.
Is Sheik Uthman OK?
Where's the tree huggers when you need them, they could've held that tree up.
That tree blocked the flow of traffic, that tree blocked the flow of that woman's future.
Most care about traffic, not lives. If we did, our cities wouldn't be car-centric.
Wtf
That tree was meant for Greg Abbott's top half.
Let me just place a lawsuit on the city for not maintaining these trees.
Its all bidens and gavin newscums fault!
Hope it's all taken care of by March!
Another NPC gone too soon... If she had been paying attention she'd still be alive. Trees fall slow.
Maybe if they fall on their own, but when there is a 50 mph wind pushing them down. They are not so slow.

Plant stronger trees!! Eucalyptus and pine trees are very susceptible to high winds!
Time to ban trees.
That blows.
Maybe use large boulders or rocks with more soil on the root systems of larger trees. As a counter weighted root system.
Was Rocky there? Hows the tree? Is she Adriannnnnnnn!!!!!!!!!??
Those trees are more prone to toppling over. Shallow roots n not native, needs to be removed.
Ohhh shhhhhhh!
Why they let the tree over grown. No one taking care of it. That's what happens
