I see lot of negative comments from ppl against John...even the smiling Vignesh would not have that kind of attitude to John or to anyone... i do understand Vignesh should have also got the title...sometimes its difficult to chose between a wild rose and garden rose...garden roses easily bloom due to the upbringing....facilities and exposure they get due to the connections, nurturing from childhood.. but i felt john from a village may not have attended the best music schools to learn proper music... or had the facility to be trained from professional music or carnatic teachers from childhood like Vignesh or others.... all his knowledge is just from his father stage singing. which is basic.. but ppl voted mainly for his voice..which has unique resemblance to SPB sir in many ways.. which is a gift.. but if im a Judge i would have given the first prize to both Vignesh and John.. I love them both.. but such option is not there in super singer.. however national award has it.. two awards given in same category.

This is the format of the show for years and years. From top 25 judges musicians or team will filter top 5 and hand it over to public.. Public opinion matters..Majority wins..John won many people's hearts..So he won..Don't spread negativity against that kid..Usually they r giving 1st and 2nd place according to votes. 3rd place will be given to the contestant who has got highest score from judges..This is being there for years. Because they are guving respect to public. Contestants would have known it earlier. If they cannot accept this fact then thay can participate in a show in which judges select the winner. Thats it !!
