Srila Vishvanatha Chakravarti Thakura says that for non-devotees, Lord Krishna maintains the neutral attitude(samo'ham sarva bhuteshu) and grants them happiness and misery through the material nature on the basis of their prarabdha karma. Here his direct interference in their lives through his grace is not seen. In case of devotees' lives, however, Srila Chakravarti Thakura says - "sva-bhakteşu sva-prasāda eva dṛśyate"- "Lord's personal, direct grace is seen". Thus, all their events in life is directly governed by Lord and are his kripa, a devotee's life is not a product of his prarabdha karmas(because they are already destroyed by sadhana bhakti).

Whether God loves us or hates us remains his secret. God not only tests his sheep, but also punishes them for their sins (Prarabdh). It seems that the best bet would be to act like the biblical Prodigal Son because the Servant Son loses his value in the eyes of the Father. The question remains as to why God thwarts our plans, aspirations and efforts and withholds the fruits of our labor, if He is our Suhrdam or 'best friend'. What benefit does he derive from this destructive behavior? There is a danger here that the believer will lose hope and turn away from God altogether - to the delight of the devil. If God cannot be kind and truly Suhrdam to us, why can't he just stay out of our worldly affairs and let us do what we want to do? We would be better off with Him not meddling in our lives. Many are simply not interested in any Moksha. They simply want to remain part of Samsara. What's wrong with that?

The main target is to be peaceful in every outside situations. All sufferings come from mind and thinking. At first one thinks and then does a job from thinking and again and again doing the same jobs, it becomes habit and is recorded in subconscious mind . If one thinks always positive and as far as possible avoids negative thoughts, mind may be peaceful . Probably Lord Krishna too wants peaceful mind of His beloved devotees. Hare Krishna.

As a human, we have the right to enjoy the material happiness. Else we should have been born as an animal. So, if the god have given us the power to own things, get attached, be happy then why he takes away those? I know materialistic happiness is short lived, but God should give it to us if we are good people doing the right thing. No need to protect us or keep things away from us everytime. At end of our life we can leave everything n go towards liberation. It feels like people who don't believe in God, do illogical stuffs get all their wish fulfilled while those who believe in god and try to do right thing in the list right way possible, get the pain n sacrifice.

Whether God loves us or hates us remains his secret. God not only tests his sheep, but also punishes them for their sins (Prarabdh). It seems that the best bet would be to act like the biblical Prodigal Son because the Servant Son loses his value in the eyes of the Father. The question remains as to why God thwarts our plans, aspirations and efforts and withholds the fruits of our labor, if He is our Suhrdam or 'best friend'. What benefit does he derive from this destructive behavior? There is a danger here that the believer will lose hope and turn away from God altogether - to the delight of the devil. If God cannot be kind and truly Suhrdam to us, why can't he just stay out of our worldly affairs and let us do what we want to do? We would be better off with Him not meddling in our lives. Many are simply not interested in any Moksha. They simply want to remain part of Samsara. What's wrong with that?

The main target is to be peaceful in every outside situations. All sufferings come from mind and thinking. At first one thinks and then does a job from thinking and again and again doing the same jobs, it becomes habit and is recorded in subconscious mind . If one thinks always positive and as far as possible avoids negative thoughts, mind may be peaceful . Probably Lord Krishna too wants peaceful mind of His beloved devotees. Hare Krishna.

Srila Prabhupada: Yes. You forced Krishna to allow you to come. Just like sometimes a child forces the father. Father says, "My dear son, do not do this, do not go there." But he insists, "Father, I must go, I must go." "All right, you go at your risk." That's all. And you suffer. What can be done? Because you are son of God-God has got independence, full independence, almighty. Therefore, you have acquired the quality of your father, you have got little independence. So God does not interfere with your little independence. If you persist that "I must go and enjoy independently," so God says, "All right, you can go." This is the position. You have to take sanction, that is a fact. But when you persist, God sanctions and you come and enjoy. Beginning from Lord Brahma down to the worms in the stool, gradually. According to your work, according to your desire you manufacture your different types of body and enjoy and suffer, that's all.

I know materialistic happiness is short lived, but God should give it to us if we are good people doing the right thing. No need to protect us or keep things away from us everytime. At end of our life we can leave everything n go towards liberation. It feels like people who don't believe in God, do illogical stuffs get all their wish fulfilled while those who believe in god and try to do right thing in the list right way possible, get the pain n sacrifice.
