You mentioned durability and that the Epix had to be replaced. What happened?
Always keep an older AW, wear one while the other one is charging. I have an AW1 and 2. 😊
Do you wear both all the time or only use your Garmin for workouts? AW all day?
Anybody know what watch he is wearing on his left wrist? The white Garmin?
Just bought the Garmin Epix 2 pro sapphire edition for 800$. Its on sale.
How are you enjoying it, are you happy with it?
Track mode on Garmin is good
I don’t get why would you ( or anyone else)pick the Apple Watch Ultra as everyday day devices whatsoever?
I would love to see you do an analysis on how the two calculate resting heart rate and which is scientifically more accurate.
I have polar h10 and epix gen 2.
Tested with both
And they are pretty close
Somedays h10 shows 42 and epix shows 45
Other days epix is at 41 and h10 at 42 43.
Thanks but I’m specifically interested the differences in Garmin and Apple. I’ve found there to be significant differences in the two especially for active people that don’t sit around a lot.
Garmin reports the lowest 30 minute average from the past 24 hrs. Not sure how apple calculates rhr. In terms of the raw hr values themselves *while at rest*, both are pretty much gold standard
Had the Venu 3 with their newest generation HR sensor and the AWU 1 while running and during strength training. Both times they showed almost the exact same HR. Unfortunately I didn`t pay too much attention to the resting HR. But in another review I saw, that the Epix was around 30 secs behind the AWU, so it seems, that it needs a bit longer than the AWU to track the change in HR.
Epix is way better I had both
Garmin 965 or your epix?
Anyone know if the ultra2 cellular works when you travel....ie if you bought it in your home region north america will it work the same in europe as a stand alone cellular device....
it depends on a lot. if you're using your native provider while traveling then it can work. it you plan to get a eSIM in that country because you're moving there it gets more complicated.
No one needs both! No one!
You had to get what replaced? The AW is nowhere near as durable as the Epix so im not sure what the problem could have been
Apple Watch Ultra is 100% more durable than the Epix, do a quick search and check how many people break their Fenix 7 Pro / Epix Gen 2 after a quick swim in salt wanter and you'll understand.
Dude what’s going on with your HRV?
what is going on with it??
@@ShervinShares I think what he means is that the readings are pretty low.
Even I was like how is your reading that low if you are training for a marathon.
Usually HRV keeps getting higher, the better you get.
I mean, obviously I don't know more about these things when compared to yourself, but that reading had me in concern.
Έλληνας; Έπος :) 🎉🎉
You can't compare sport watch (garmin) with shiit watch
Wrong
Well the Apple Watch has a much more accurate optical sensor…. Which throws lots of garmin metrics off. The garmin is much better at battery, so it can tell the time for longer
Hmmm, let's see.
Apple watch ultra 2 -> most accurate heart rate sensor, most accurate sleeping metrics, doesn't break after 10 minutes swim in the ocean.
Epix Gen 2 -> not good at heart rate measurement, not accurate sleep metrics, does break after 10 minutes swimming session, has the cool body battery feature though, that's a bonus point.
I get it though, if I'd spent more than $800 for a glorified inaccurate time teller I'd be hating too.
Are u greek?
