i have that PBJ x Okayama super rough pair..the fabric was as rough as its name..one of my favorite for daily use. No doubt PBJ got the best jeans in term of fabric

incredible list and they are all unique and at the top of the market. i find Oni & Tanuki have a similar feel to their products. Same with full count and momotaro. though momotaro is better made than full count.

got a great idea for a video!! why not talk to the uninitiated about how hard to go with their first purchase. i have a pretty extensive collection now and it could be a fair bit smaller. buying less but waiting for that sale, speculating, trying stuff on to make sure its perfect. if someone has watched over 50 denim videos save up and get some book of 5 rings samurai denim instead of getting 2 pairs of the entry level stuff.
good example is white tshirts seems like you can never have enough japanese white tshirts. but when i got the boncoura pocket t which is the god of all tshirts i really wished someone told me that it was that much better than the others if they did id have 2.

Do you have any thoughts on the iron heart 634 21 oz? Apparently they have a special treatment to slow fading, but nobody seems to know by exactly how much, it’s a shame because 21oz is probably the perfect weight.
Mine hardly any signs of fades or whiskering in two months of wearing pretty much every day, i didn't pre soak either, wearing from raw
I’ll say this , I gotta a pair of 25 0z 634 .. I work in construction wear them 14 -20 days before I soak them clean and 6 months later it’s just a slight fade , they actually seem to get darker than when you first get them
