Great series....this is what I use to find the best rental car.
this is so funny
Honestly I’m always impressed with what a “Regular Car” can do in the hands of Wyatt, and he always finds a way to make these videos informative on top of entertaining. Excellent video, per usual!
Man.. I would love to see yoou guys redo the GR corolla in the dirt!
That would be way too expensive to rally them. Most cars in amateur rallying is just regular versions of high performance variants because they cost less to buy and maintain.
PLEASE dont stop doing these.
@@kbbl102.5 Thank you for watching them!
I wonder how my crosstrek would do! Man i love this channel!
The multi camera edit is a nice addition to these!
Thank you!
Quite not the GR one, but I’m glad to see it on the channel. Great video!
Wow electronic parking brakes suck.
They're beyond dumb. Makes it so you can't use the parking brake as an emergency brake. And to what benefit?
They can't be actuated without power either
@@flurpoid everything in a modern car becomes a not only useless but a danger when the power goes out. It's insane.
For a 6 speed daily, it does help out a lot for automatic hill holding. I daily my Corolla way more than I'm needing to do some skids haha
@@s5SnipEmoyou can hill hold with a handbrake
going on 9 RallyCross events in this car with the 6mt. You have to feather left foot braking to keep ECU from cutting throttle. I've found NOT braking and instead coming off the gas and throwing it in the corner hard then clutch kicking and hard accelerating is faster in some turns than braking into the turn to induce the slide. I've upgraded the motor mount and crank pulley which helps alot.
clutch kicking in a FWD car seems like a no-brainer to me, does it really help?
Id love to see a FIAT 500! I have a 2015 Turbo and I rip it around gravel and snow all the time here in Canada. Would be fun to see a normal, non-Abarth one at work here. Gotta pull some fuses again but you have a real handbrake!
I need to see you do the GR corolla again
I love these video, i just want more!
I'd like to see a Mazda 3 manual hatchback for comparison.
Now compare this to a 2009 - 2010 pontiac Vibe. ❤😂🎉
This makes me want this Corolla
AWESOME content as always
Thank you!
Hey that GR Corolla looks a bit funny!
I think the grill looks better than the GR. It's a bulbous toad compared to the regular Corolla.
great video, great series...would love to see you try both the new ford ranger raptor and the tacoma hybrid.
I bought my hatchback xse because of this series
Watched this thinking it was a GRC. Then when you said “SE” I went….”oh. Shit”
Compare this with a 96 corolla - no abs, manual handbrake, left foot brake until the cows come home. It's a joy
I had a 96 corolla. That thing was a tank.
After seeing this car in the summer, I feel pretty confident a second gen Hyundai Accent could meet or exceed this time. It rotates off throttle incredibly well and allows left foot braking. Great driving as always
Hello! This series is amazing. Specially when I see sport offroaders, as I see them designed for this. Do you know if the Model Y will be tested? 😍
I’d like to see an episode testing the ‘01-05 Civic
Nice. 😊
Please do a will it rally on a first generation Durango
I own one of these and this is great to see 😂
nice run !
I’ve been wanting to do some crazy stuff as of recent. You mind doing a will it rally on the ford focus SE hatchback from 2016
Great video, as usual, Wyatt. Does pulling the ABS fuse also disable the EBD and ESC? ESC is a pain in the arse when I hire a rental to do unofficial reccies.
hell yeah
Do the GR in the summer!!!
Doug DeMuro claims that the Chrysler 200S is the same as an evo and subaru on dirt. Will you guys be able to test that?
Regular FWD cars with soft engine mounts already feel like engine and transmission are going to fall out of the car whenever you transition from full throttle to lifting off and vice versa, some of the more powerful FWD cars that still have really soft mounts makes this even worse.
i see u have a WRX up there in the timing list..... be fair use a GR.
will it rally for how long? corolla edition
werent you able to sort out the electronic throttle cut last time
how is the engine /trans mount in the GR corolla?
Can you do the GR86/BRZ?
Does this also mean that if i blow the abs fuse by chance, the car won't move? T__T
Love these videos! It would be wicked if you ripped the MK8 GTI!
Bittersweet to see these in the car I drive. Not as cheap to fix as my old 98' Camry, but it's nice to see that I could still get some good fun out of the new one for the econobox enthusiast like myself.
i'd love to see you guys rip a Mazda CX-5, please?
Would love to see fcp euros cayman out here or another cayman. I’m prepping my 07 987 2.7 for central Canadian winter.
If you do make a video to test it on the dry, I found a connection for the psm system behind the radio access through the drivers footwell that fully disabled psm so left foot braking does not cut throttle response. You can easily plug this back in afterwards to regain psm.
@@noahdangor5075 we would love to get the FCP euro Cayman out here again too!
Aren’t these 6 speeds?
I was confused by that as well. 6 man or cvt
Late spring out there??
Everything out here in the Columbia Gorge area is brown and it's been 105-110° for the last 4 days.
You can have some of our rain!
Thats why the rear mount is the first upgrade on these lol
Also there is a conversion people can do to get the e brake from the sedan 1.8 version
type r next pls lol
If only there was a manual in the current Corolla.
I think it was available until last year or so.
@@ALMX5DP same year the GR Corolla got introduced I believe. Sucks because not many GR Corollad are made.
@@imnotusingmyrealname4566 well I feel people had their opportunity to get one if they wanted. I’m sure the take rate was quite low when it was produced.
How would a front wheel drive sedan do around corners like the moose test?
Isn't this a 6 Speed?
Do an Evo X
It would be interesting to see how slow an UAZ-452 would be.
I thought these cars only came with a CVT?
Starting 2023 or 24 they do. They used to have 6 speed manual before then
@@smithsfan425 Were they not in the US or something? I've only ever seen the CVT variants in the states
@@ralvolvi7668they had the option of the 6 speed manual or CVT until 2023 where the took out the manual option in favor of just the cvt. I want a 6 speed for a daily so bad.
You keep saying 5 speed, but isn't it a 6 speed?
Electric parking brakes, electric steering that will jerk the steering wheels out of your hands if you try to change lanes without signaling, engines that shut off every time you stop the vehicle...I mean wtf? They might as well actually make cars without hoods and repossess your car if its older than 5 years. This crap has to stop.
a 5 speed? in 2022? 0:08
How come there are 6d old comments here?😂
You can comment before the release if they announce the premiere of it
@@bleebleblahble8833 This isn't premiered though

"The fastest car in the world...a rented Toyota Corrola." -Jeremy Clarkson, cerca 2011
No hand brake or left foot braking. Sigh. "Progress" 😢
For all you sim pilots: get off your couch and try the real thing! Do a rally school, lease a car, and do a rally. You need real war stories for the old folks home.
you buyin
So disrespectful to wear the flag on a t-shirt like that...shameful
To you.
