Didn’t think pan shovel wasn’t until 67

The first year of the shovelhead was 66 they where generator shovel for 3yrs before they changed the bottom end to the cone with a stator. A pan shovel is any panhead bottom end before 66 that replaced the top end with shovel heads so you can have a 53 panshovel.

Love this bike but the seat isn't wear I'd want it, I'd rather sit in the bike than on the bike. Seat needs to move back and down a bit even if it's a pogo.

@@Joe-qv6jh you're right on so many thing, just want to clarify couple of things, 66-69 it's not a Pan Shovel, it's simply a Shovelhead, a Pan Shovel is a modified Pan just like yours, rounded swing arms that you were reffering to was carried on 58-72 FLH while the frame for Duoglide 58-64 and 65 onward (Electra Glide) were totally differents, yours are Electra Glide frame with 63 bottom end and shovelhead top end, it's a Pan Shovel, you can't tell what years that bike is, because the cases and frame were not in the same years.
