I’m not gonna say that jperm is the best vcuber because of how many subscribers he has, but because he salved thie puppet cube with no tutorials and even came up with his own algorithms for it too, which in my mind was one of the coolest things I’ve seen a cuber do, he’s truly remarkable no matter how many people say he’s an overrated UA-camrs, I’d say he’s by far one of the smartest
Watching this video after watching Dylan solving the puppet cube by himself just makes me even more amazed of how smart that man is And Jesse too, I really don't think I'd be able to solve anything past #3
After looking through the tutorials, i learned that for the Puppet Cube you only need to memorize 2 algs for corners (big cube swap and L cube swap), 3 5-cycles i call algs 1-3 that swap different edges and 1 3-cycle for the E layer edges for a total of 6 algs I would obviously get it to solved corners first, and I would switch between orange front/yellow top or green front/yellow top to move different sets of edges. All 3 5-cycles move the same 3 edges on the front faces, and just switch which other edges move. Id use alg 1 to get that back edge, alg 3 to get the side edge and use alg 2 to get the last bottom layer edges in place Then i would just use a 3 cycle to move the edges on the top face in place (even if it is flipped) where it's just an alg 3 setup, do the 3 cycle for the E layer, then undo the alg 3 setup Once top is done, use the E slice 3 cycle to finish those 3 pieces and use the final flipping algs to strategically flip the last edges (either 0 flips, 2 flips or 4 flips) And the flipping algs is just (alg 2-alg 3)x2 or (alg 3-alg 2)x2 After figurin out i can just use those, the solve got easier to manage Also i know me saying alg 1-3 makes no sense but it's how i personally remember it
Ghost is probably my favorite non wca cube. My first few solves took multiple days (with breaks). But I can do one in under half an hour now, I think. I really had to learn that two peaces (triangle "corners") look so similar you can interchange them by mistake without noticing and get an impossible LL. Paying attention to that helps a bunch. I started with a knockoff. Its very possible that the branded pieces beloning together solves this annoyance.
That Pupet Cube is the top most hardest puzzle ever builded, when talking about thinking how to solve by your self without any help, just only your mind and only your mind (specifically not looking tutorials or anything of someone else).
I own both of the puppet cubes, and I've only solved the harder one once. The one that JR had on the first day was actually the easier one. The one that he ended up solving is the most difficult one for sure. The easier version allows you to do slice moves which means you can do commutators to set all of the edges but the harder one hides the edges which means you have to do a series of U-Perms and T perms to get everything into place. It's rough... I also wouldn't say that the puppet cube isnt that hard as far as puzzles go, it's just extremely frustrating because you only have so many limited moves. If you really think about it, it's basically a really convoluted blindfolded method. My favorite 3x3 mod is the double circle crazy cube which is hard but it's fun because you can reason about it and you don't have to grind the same algorithm over and over again to cycle the pieces.
I solved the Ghost cube, after a month I needed a tutorial because I didn't realize how the pieces looking so similar will trip me up, but that puzzle is still some of my biggest challenges I faced when cubing
All 5 of those are new to me and I don't even have any of those yet, might get them in future, not sure yet about solving them, but at least to add it my puzzle collection.
last month I searched for a difficult rubik cube to play in my free time. And I bought a puppet cube. Big mistake. It's a v2 puppet cube. Only solved it 2 times until now with little help from internet.
Cool, but the ghost cube is really not that hard, once you know where pieces have to go, it's like a 3x3. I first got mine when I was like 12 and I solved it easily 🤷♀️ (Easily ≠ Fast lol)
Can someone drop the algs he used for the puppet cube on here????? I'm suffering here with the v1 puppet cube and if I quite cubing tomorrow and get admitted to a mental hospital, let it show that it was the puppet cube!!!!!!!

Plz JR Cuber, make more videos on your channel
Yup…. I’ve met him in person too and appeared in a couple of vlogs and also got mentioned by some kid in his worlds vlog
The puppet cube truly is the craziest challenge. Jperms’ video is a lot of fun too.
True... I only solved mine with the help of Cuber Stu's vid.. small channel, excellent algorithms
The only reason JR can solve any of these is because of the power of his perfectly combed hair
LMAOO
How does he have it so well combed?

Great video! I love the 3x3 ghost cube even though it's tricky. I'm afraid of my latch cube! Puppet cube just looks too frustrating. 😀

Come on, mang. J-perm did the puppet cube without help! He was writing out ridiculous lists of alg ideas on paper and trying all kinds of stuff 😅

the ghost cube took him nine minutes but it looks like it would take like a decade for me. thaTS AMAZING
My single for Puppet Cube V1 2:26 and MO3 2:44 (video on my channel). And i'm not speedcuber but multisolver. Many bandaged 3x3 cubes is harder.
Ah nice job man!
jperm actually solved the puppet cube it took him 2-3 days he created algorithms by himself its his hardest cube
I wish they massed produced 4x4 and 5x5 Ghost cubes.
Puppet cube 2 is a 4x4 I think but it's allot easier
I glad to say that I've solved the ghost cube a few times - but all of those others look truly dispicable! I'll hapilly never attempt any of them!
I recognize a bad puzzle when the solved state looks completly scrambled to me.

the fact that he can solve a ghost cube is really impressive
No one is going to talk about the 1x1 😭😭 the hardest puzzle to solve
dude, the 1x1 is about how fast u can stop the timer, its so easy, but if your gonna follow a method to solve it ur only gonna use 1 alg
