So things:
Saiki being able to play piano shouldn't be surprising.
ALL students in music schools in Japan learn to play piano, especially vocalists.
Also Kanami and MISA aren't really duelling. They having a 2 woman jam session.
It was Kanami's idea to help MISA open up and relax on stage. MISA tends to a bundle of nerves on stage and Kanami was hoping she'd cut back on the alcohol.
I'm always amazed at the passion of the overseas BAND-MAID community.
I am humbled by their understanding and love for BAND-MAID.
It's only been a year since I discovered them, but I've fallen in love with their music and performances, and I've been on a pilgrimage to Yokohama Arena. Like anyone, I was first moved by the fact that these girls, who I had only seen online, existed.
BAND-MAID is a band whose formation and continued existence is something of a miracle, as the members themselves say, and as their ardent fans say. Other than the Beatles, I can't think of any other band where the names, talents, and characters of all members are equally loved by fans.
The concept of the gap between maid clothes and hard rock, cute and cool still continues. What's more, this gap is like sisters in the playoffs and in private, who astonish fans with intricate and intensely emotional songs with elaborate ensembles, or like friends in Japanese middle school and high school. The contrast between them and their innocent, unadorned friendship surprises fans even more and captures their hearts.
BAND-MAID is a band that is like a family community, where the members and their families are close to each other, which is rare among Japanese bands. On the other hand, his stance of never stopping to improve his music composition and performance skills is similar to the club activities that many Japanese students experience, a kind of republican style where all members strengthen the team through rigorous practice. This is because we have maintained a warrior-like equal relationship. All five members hone their respective talents, share their roles and fulfill their responsibilities, and are a leader-less team where everyone understands that they can shine equally, and the music they produce never ceases to captivate those who watch and hear it. , a truly miraculous band.
And it was thanks to Ohrenje and the BAND-MAID community that we were able to gain such understanding. thank you.
I translated the following into English using Google Translate.
What wonderful words you wrote! Thank you!
Thank you 🙏🏻
Very heartfelt and beautiful sentiment. Thank you for sharing! ✌🏼😎
Saiki saved her best performance for Yokohama. She was amazing.
Be honest - was anyone else wiping away a tear or two after seeing Saiki so emotional. May the next 30 years be as great as these ten years have been.
A tear or two? I'm full on bawling my eyes out 😭😭😭
I literally cry every time I watch the end of the video!
NO. I had glass eyes made of water....🤔 Hang on that means they're tears.🥲
I was losing water out of my eyes the whole show. 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲
Akane getting emotional always gets me......
They are absolutely important for world's music scene.
Aged people such like 50's-60's grown with legendary rock/metal band love Band-maid.
It means that Band-maid also added 1 new page in the legend.
They become bigger and more famous, and is becoming a existence which we can't reach out.
But it is what we hope and we are sure that we will support them from far place.
Their sound and smiles are always with us.
MISA carries the soul of Jaco Pastorius. Yes, she is THAT good.
💯% true! 👍
No argument here 🤙🏽

A documentary full of strong emotions. Another masterpiece.
Personally, I discovered Band Maid in 2020, in a dark year where the world was going to sh.., where I was working like crazy to help isolated people and where I was reaching the end of my strength. Band Maid helped me get through it all by giving me more than welcome moments of joy and wonder.
But, beyond the group, it is the wonderful community that surrounds it that struck me the most.
Champ of Medium and Chase Carneson helped me discover the complexity of their composition. T-Shinjy allowed me to understand how funny and endearing these girls were. Vladimir Chupin showed me to what extent they are in total connection with their fans.
And, of course, Orhenje, a little later, offered me an encyclopedic knowledge of the group with his documentaries.
I'm only mentioning those who left the biggest impression on me, there are many more. But what a wonderful community the Maidiacs are.
So, not only thank you Band Maid, the gift that keeps on giving, but thank you to all the Maidiacs around the world!
That show was nothing short of absolutely phenomenal. As many times as I watched it. I still get choked up, watching the emotions overflowing from Saiki at the end of Endless Story. You can tell she and the girls gave all they had for us .
BAND-MAID will always be the best band ever !
I agree they gave us so much Love at Yokohama , you could see the crowd's reactions to every song they sang !
Thank you Band-Maid for beeing awesome, Po 🕊
And thank you @Ohrenje for everything you do for the Maidiac-Community.
These videos capture all the emotions Band-Maid triggers in me.
Through Band-Maid I have found my love for music again, and I also found a lot of awesome and cool people in the community ♥😎, Po.
A big Thank You to Ohrenje for this masterpiece!....and Thank You Band-Maid for your big love to the fans. We love you dearly! ❤
THANK YOU-I CRIED AND CRIED.
Thank you so much for putting in so much work and effort into every video that you put out! You along side other Bandmaid fans (poh, vlad, ryan, nairon, tshinji & many more )were the reasons why i flew out to Yokohama to watch my first ever live concert and experienced something absolutely magical ❤
🙏🕊🕊🕊🕊🕊
Many will be discovering this concert and this band in the years to come ! They will say " Why didn't someone tell me about this band ?" "How come I'm not seeing this till now ?" The answers are complex... Maybe we tried to tell you and you just weren't ready . Well... they're here now and we who love them will always be better off having known them and their music ! ♥️
I always try with an introduction of "Thrill" . A basic Hard Rocking tune and basic video production.
I was scrolling through UA-cam a week after Lollapalooza and played dice/hate? from that concert and was WTF? I've been down the pigeon hole ever since.
@@msquare249 I found Andrew Rooney's reaction to Freedom (live) in 2021 during the lockdown. I've been wandering aimlessly in the Pigeon Coup ever since. It took a few months but I made it through their entire discography ! ❤️🕊️
Wonderful work Ohrenje...and thank you to all involved...I still find it hard to believe I was at both Tokyo Garden Theater and Yokohama Arena in person...flying from UK....more than 20hrs of flying....one way!..And lengthy stop overs in Finland....But it was worth it to be there and see this amazing band.🤩🥰🥲.Long May They Reign!👑
I love Miku, Kanami, Akane, MISA, and Saiki; Band-Maid is the very best!!!!!
Thank you, Ohrenje, for sharing this!
Thank you very much for the wonderful video. I am an old man from Elvis' generation who turned 80 yesterday. A few years ago, I discovered Bandmaid, and my old rock spirit was reignited. This Yokohama concert cleared the first step of Band Maid's goal. Please take a further leap toward the next step. looking forward to it.
Great work as always!!!!! Miku's solo with Saiki fixing Mincho's hair in the background always brings a tear of joy no matter how many times I see it...This concert and BAND-MAID are beyond special❤❤❤❤❤🕊🍌🍻☕🚂
Thrill was the first video that introduced me to Band-Maid two years ago, and our little pigeon was just holding her guitar. Miku and the whole band have come a long way through hard work and dedication over the last ten years. We love our Maids as much as they love us, thank you Saiki, Akane, Miku, Kanami and MISA my Mistress Of Thunder ❤🤘
Thank you for such a great video Ohrenje. The Yokohama Arena Okyu-ji will be the one concert that will stay with both the fans and the band forever. It was a monumental moment for a monumental occasion. To all my Maidiac Brothers and Sisters all over the world may we have many, many more years with each other and our favorite Maids.
Great words. Thank you!
This is a beautiful, award worthy documentary of one of the very best live rock bands on Earth ! Thank you Ohrenje, you have really outdone yourself with this one !
Tokyo Garden and Yokohama were the highlights of a wonderful year for the band and us fans. Great memories and once again the emotion and thrill of listening and watching these special band of Women perform bring more than just joy and happiness that I do hope they realise just how important they remain to so many. Thanks as usual for this truly great reminder of a special year and concert. THANKS as always for all the hard work that goes into these videos. They bring back wonderful memories.
Nashville was a highlight for me, because I saw them from 15 feet away
I pray they will not block this video. I smell problems, the excerpts from the YokoAri OKYUJI may be considered by the copyright agency as being too long. But this documentary is a masterpiece, it would be a real shame if they remove it.
I actually think that it's a great advertisement for the coming Blu-Ray. It seems not so many people actually saw the stream.
It seems they are now allowing videos that introduce and evaluate them. I’ve already ordered the Blu-ray, but I'm curious to see how much MC it will include. I also hope that the concerts in February, March, and May will be streamed online.
I hope this video stays up too
@@toshimatyu6654 BAND-MAID is critically lacking publicity, unfortunately. They have entered their 11th year, and still they remain largely unknown to the public. We need to spread the gospel, to cry in the wilderness, to scream from the rooftops... It would be a shame if the world learns about them only when they will not be with us anymore...
Such a special band....The music. the presentation, the personalities....Their wholesome authenticity and sincerity is so refreshing....I really love these Ladies
How can you not love these ladies? Every one of them. I'm getting old, I've been a fan of hundreds of bands and artists over time, but I've NEVER been so enthralled, so in love with a band as I am with Band-Maid. Thank you ladies.
My favorite moment in Yokohama was Saiki's solo version of 'Choose Me'.
That was unexpectedly good, I would say. I did not expect much from her first-ever performance as an instrumentalist. But she was flawless! And she worked a lot on perfecting her breath control in this song, she ironed out a few glitches which were present in her initial attempt to do an acoustic version of "Choose me," which was published on BAND-MAID Prime.
Amazing all around...
@@VladimirChupin If Saiki released an album like that I would definitely buy one. VC- I hope you are doing well.
@@randymcmillen647 Saiki/Kanami acoustic duo, yes 😍😍
@@VladimirChupinSaiki/Kanami on Side 1. Miku/Misa/Akane on Side 2.😊
I'd love to see Saiki/Miku duo. After watching two of them performing Forward together on final episode of Band-Maid nippon and intro of memorable, I'd love to listen to them play acoustic guitar together one day.
Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Ohrenje-Sensei! 🙇 Amazing video! Really enjoyed watching it.
Thank you, Kasper! Always glad to hear you.
exDemonius - дзякуй!
And thanks everyone involved!

@@VladimirChupin Oh, there are already 6 subtitles at the moment, and I think there will be more in the future.
After the acoustic part, i had only one thing in my mind that was thinking maybe BAND-MAIKO could appear
What a stellar video! It was a fantastic year for BAND-MAID and all of their fans. All of their hard work is paying off! Thank you Ohrenje and all your helpers who made this possible. It was just perfect! A fitting tribute to an incredible band! BAND MAID!!
Thank you, thank you Band-Maid
What a beautiful tribute video to our favourite band. Yokohama was unforgettable (even on livestream as I viewed it). I can only imagine the enjoyment of the fans who were at Yokohama...but there or not, Band Maid has always been one of those very few bands which can just draw you in as if you were there with them. Wow..such a great vid Ohrenje. Arigatou❤
Thank you Ohrenje and team, wonderful video about our wonderful maids, Arrigatou
I missed the premiere cause I just got home and now I'm crying in the middle of having dinner 🥺 Never will this performance of Endless Story not make me cry 😭❤
Thanks Ohrenje for this beautiful recount of 2023. Even when it was bad, thanks to the Maids, it was also always good Po! ✨💜
Great job as usual, here’s to the next 10 years!
Thank you Ohrenje for yet another well-put video with this time on the retrospect of Band-Maid's tenth anniversary year. I'm also a brand new fan who discovered them last March/April via the final episode of the "Songs of Tokyo" series and then moving onto the YT videos of "Thrill", "Real Existence" and "the non-fiction days". It's weird that now I feel like they're a band I feel I've known for a long time. I think it's all from listening to them on a daily basis since my discovery and keeping up on news related to them. I agree with Kobato-san, they're truly a miracle band!! 🎀⚡💜❤💛💙💚
Band-Maid!
Getting us emotional again!
Thank you for another fabulous documentary Ohrenje (and Kasper!), that was such a great reminder of everything Band-Maid achieved in 2023 & especially the Yokohama show. And thank You Band-Maid for being THE best band out there. Here's to 2024 (European tour, anyone?).
Yes! Europe tour please!
I was at Yokohama and I have never been to a show with so much emotion. Best show I have ever been to in 50 years preformed by the best band I have ever heard. This video brought back memories of the night and just how good Band Maid are. Love this band always will ❤🌹🎀
I am a 74-year old blues/rock singer...and, in all that time, BAND-MAID is the best live rock band I have ever heard.
Saiki's lovely voice was still going strong even after the last song.
This Is a great YT channel
Once again great Work. Thank you, sir 🙏🏻
Can’t find the words to describe Yokohama concert. Only tears, tears of joy 🔥❤️
Fantastic as always!

Thank you Ohrenje, I know I will never have the opportunity to watch Band Maid live, but we have you to bring us the magic and emotion of our rock maids, we shed a few tears of happiness and pride for having met a band that brings us peace and strength.
Great job!! and thanks for doing this.
Beautiful, thank you.
Thank you Ohrenje for putting together this video together. I saw Band Maid in Anaheim back in August and it was the greatest show I have ever been to. But to see this video and the show they put on made me jealous of everyone who was blessed to be there. I’ve seen a lot of rock going back to Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Rush and all the classics bands of the 80’s and 90’s. For years I believed the best of Rock was in the past but these wonderful ladies of Band Maid have proved me wrong. Rock needed a woman’s touch and Band Maid has become the best rock band on the planet, not just of today, but of all time. Legendary performers at every instrument and legendary vocals. Thank you Saiki, MISA, Akane, Kanami and Miku. I love you…..WE Maidiacs, love you!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!
Brillant video as always
What a roller coster of emotions, glad to be a part of it at Yokohama Arena.
They saved me from Covid lockdowns for sure! And now they are making me inspired to go to the nest stage with lots of positive emotions. Their music is just so inspiring and energetic!! I love their music!!!
Kanami's intro to Daydreaming always gets to me big time. Absolutely beautiful! ❤🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲🥰
SAIKI was very emotional , the fan's embraced BAND MAID with so much respect ! Greatest concert I ever seen in my life !
Still can't believe I was there. Thank you @Ohrenje for doing this.
You’re not the only one, a lot of Maidiacs are doing the same thing.😢
top notch from the girls and from Ohrenje. great year ahead!
Wonderful video...the memories from being there are still fresh but this brought back so much.....
I only discovered this band in early-mid 2023, but I already feel like I spent a lifetime with them.
Thank you for showing our favorite band history the last ten years❤
Such wonderful memories (and I’m tearing up Ohrenje!! Thanks!! LOL). I started out not knowing if I was going to make it to see them last year. I'm so happy that things did work out and I made it to the Varsity Theater. So glad that I have met so many fantastic people too, you all are amazing. The relationship between the band and fans, it’s awesome and heartfelt!
S
BAND-MAID is in our hearts forever. Every year they prove it.
Thanks to Ohrenje and the team for this wonderful video. This is another documentary that tells about one year of BAND-MAID.
All I can say is that Saiki came onstage in Portland with a HUGE smile and she looked right at us…. It was so heartmelting. She was so genuinely happy to see her fans. It was a bit emotional. Anyone else feel that?
Thanks for putting this together Ohrenje, it was fantastic! 👏👏👏🥲
Great video. We will be talking about THIS concert 10 years from now. It will be legendary by then … and 10 million people will claim they were there haha. They have worked their tails off to get where they are and deserve every bit of fame and fortune they get. They are important to rock music.
Loved it thank you !
Thank you so much for your touching video, let's go to the next 10 years with BAND MAID ❤
Wow! All these new ideas they use for new intros to songs could be the base for entirely new songs, but they’re so damn talented they just say screw it, we’ll make more.
Ready to go 🙂 can't wait
Thank you for putting this together. Great job by you and the other collaborators. Having been there it brought back the wonderful moments during the okyuji as well as being overwhelmed with emotions at the end. It felt so satisfying to be there to witness so many beautiful moments. My order for the Blue-ray disc is already in!
Thankya! 😎🤘
As always, thank you, Ohrenje, for a heartfelt recap of a band 10 years in the making. BAND-MAID!!!!!
Thanks for the reviews. Band Maid were extremely active in 2023 again and we should thank them for their professionalism ( I mean 1000% appreciate to their hardworking and uniqueness they always perform in each show). And thinking of how they have to write new songs, keep practicing, maintaining and taking care of themselves in between the Okyuji is another thing that we need to thank for. Yokohama Arena was great and emotional experience for me.
I think it's also nice that Miku showed her ties to the origins of Band Maid by bringing out some of her first guitars on stage as well.
Thank you Ohrenje for the wonderful triumphant wrap up of BAND-MAID's 10th Anniversary. One small gentle reminder to the group that world domination cannot be achieved until you please tour the southern hemisphere 🙂
My sincerest thanks to Team Ohrenje for this excellent video. I was a bit jealous of the people that were at this concert. But now I feel like I've experienced some of this once in a lifetime event.
Heck, I even got to see MISA smiling, big and happy.
Gracias, gracias, muchas veces muchas gracias...
It was a wonderful Band-Maid 10th anniversary retrospective video👏👏👏👏👏
Very well done, thank you, PO!🙏 🕊💕
Beautiful tribute Ohrenje ! You can't beat an Endless Story finale ! I would love to see it released as a live to their YT channel along with Daydreaming, that intro gets me all teary it's so gorgeous, Kanami genius right there ❤

Thank you very much😊🎵We love BAND-MAID🎀🎸😍
So emotional 😢 and a celebratory performance congrats Band Maid and thank you for the 10 years of memories see you in 2024
Wonderful documentary! Of course, you had the best rock band in the world as your subject! It looks like the Yokohama finale was a truly life-changing experience! I have seen them three times, and they already had that effect on me. Only one minor correction--yes, "Thrill" was the song that saved Band-Maid but it was not their first song and wasn't written by them. But it remains a favorite, for sure. Anyway, great video, and I'll watch it again now.
The amount of talent in this group is beyond measure.
This was great! Thank you Ohrenje
What a great series! Endless thanks to you, Ohrenje and everyone else. It was joy to watch and feel all of yours/ours emotions!
A great song to end a wonderful journey. The first time I saw sadness in their faces. Band Maid will be back
This is just awesome. I can’t wait for the Blu-ray!
Thank you so much Oherenji san! God bless you! Forget moderation. This is the greatest proper rock band touring today in the world. The very best. This is the proof!
I have no words plenty of tears but no words
I went to see the 10th anniversary party 2 in Yokohama which they performed the songs that they really wanted to play for the first show, but couldn’t make it due to the time limitation. That was so great❣️🤘
Thank You! Ohrenje. Especially for the Translation of the last part of Endless Story. t-shinji Thank you for Your Translations and Also Thank you Vlad for the Band-maid Live videos without those I wouldn't be here. Thank you Band-Maid Community. Lots of Love From Nepal.
