That's how most men would spend their money if they didn't have spouses telling them to dump it all into new crap for the house all the time. Do what you live, buy yourself a toy. Don't waste time or money on the rest.
He came to my high school practice when I was a sophomore made us run the same play over and over for 3 hours no joke until we literally couldn't make a mistake on it. for the rest of the season we scored on that play every time we used it guy is a football genius.
I love that!! It's like Coach John Wooten's 8 laws of learning: explanation, demonstration, imitation, repetition, repetition, repetition, repetition, and repetition.
Bob is my 2nd cousin and the entire reason I became a huge football fan. When Brian Urlacher came into the league, he was Chicago's O-line coach. Bob's also an awesome dad, granddad, comedian, magician and always made a point to visit home a few times a year. You won't find many coaches like him and I'm so glad to call him family. And for many of you who've commented, I'm humbled by your kind words. Thank you
@@justinalley3399 You just totally misread what Daniel typed. He is not in Cleveland this year and they are worse. So he was doing a good job. Clueless.
the main reason CLE was so bad on the line was due to them trading one of the best guards in the NFL Kevin Zeitler. You can't just remove a talent like that and then plug the hole with Eric Kush who is now on his 7th team in 7 years.
This guy reminds me of an assistant on my HS football team years ago. Everyone loved him, he coached because he loved football, wouldn’t care about the pay. I have so many stories about him, I hope he’s still doing well
I absolutely frickin love Bob Wylie. He was the oline coach for the Raiders for one season in 2011 & in that season, the Raiders were the best offensive team in the league & he did it with a bunch of unknowns & less talented players (aside from Jared Veldheer & Stefan Wiesniewski). Miss him as our oline coach.
Listen ive been into american football the last 4 years im southamerican and play a lot of football "soccer"... but this game has taught me a lot and is one of my favourite pass times to watch because of what this man monements .. great story get well soon pd. Cowboys Fan lol
Miss Bob up here in Winnipeg,he's one of a kind. Two stints with the Blue Bombers 2007-08 & 2014-16. Surprised he spent more time in Winnipeg than anywhere else. Too bad he missed the team winning the Grey Cup last week, after a 29 year drought.
Howard Mudd RIP. OL/DL coaches are just built differently, I was a garbage backup scout team defensive end on my HS team but all of the best stories I have are from line coaches.
As a Browns fan, I miss coach Wylie. Yes are his teaching methods somewhat "odd" sure, but sometimes it takes a creative way to teach someone. I agree Sumo Wrestlers are the best drive blockers. Get well soon coach. The NFL is missing you!
Nope. That title goes to Dante Scarnecchia for the Patriots. He might make the NFL Hall of Fame as nothing more than an O-line coordinator... since he's been in 8 Super Bowls, has 6 rings, and coached dozens of Pro Bowlers and All Pros. At bare minimum, he'll be in the Patriots Hall of Fame and it will be a travesty if he doesn't get the NFL Hall of Fame soon.
Yeah he started coming to my high schools football practice to help out the o-line this season. He's a real genuine guy. Love his coaching technique. I remember he showed us a picture or video of a gorilla and said these are the perfect o line man, straight backs and low to the ground, if they started playing in the nfl they would make a lot of money
Great video.. I love his unconventional way of teaching certain things. Like pointing out how sumo wrestlers drive an opponent, or how large animals like the gorilla or rhino have a low center of gravity, making them sturdy on their feet.
I don't think the Browns will ever be good again anytime soon tbh. At one time, they had both Bill Belichick & Nick Saban as coaches & they still didn't do much aside from making 1 playoff appearance. Its really sad how cursed the Browns are. They've been suffering 17 years straight (55 years if you count their misfortunes in the playoffs in the 80s & their last championship back in like 1964 or something). Hopefully, they'll find someone that will break their curse & get them back to winning.
I'd bet this guy has earned at least a million dollars in his career and his house looks like the one Napoleon Dynamite lived in..my team should hire this guy he's pure entertainment
All these high level offensive line coaches McNally and Mudd speaking so highly of Coach Wylie. Was a real privilege to be coached by him in high school even if it were only 8 practices
This man's TV is from the 50's, Dishwasher from the 70's, but driving a dope Maserati!!!!!
Thats not a Maserati lmao its just a fancy Chrysler

He’s like the high school football coach that got fired for being too mean but he is actually a nice guy
Did you even watch the video... huge respect for the guy!
"The last whistle"
Easton Rogers heee
What???
No high school coach is gonna get fired for being mean haha
he almost cried when talking about the game ball being given to him, this man loves the game, and i love this man.
I almost cried.

Lenny West Wooten played for browns to how ironic course Wylie wasn’t around tho
Watch that belly raise on the “hut!” That is the stuff of legends

He'll probably play for free if he had to, love him.
John Nob not Levon bell lmao
You mean coach for free?
No, he would ask for 22 cents an hour.
You must mean coach, respect to Bob, but you see what hes working with? Dude probly took 45 mins to get in and out of bed
He's given his entire life to football. First Ballot Hall of Fame.
Sorry bud but position coaches don't get voted into the HOF.
@@xSCARRx this one will.
@@mikewest712 No like theres actually no such thing, there is not a category for position coaches in the HOF
D11RTY B11RDS there should be though

God dammit I thought he died I was so worried
(Update) he dressed as Santa during cleveland Christmas. I loved it

The NFL Film we've all been waiting for
I love how his belly moves every time he says “set hut”
Man I would of loved to see like a whole documentary on his life. Like "A Football Life Bob Wylie "
Werner Herzog would do it :)
It'd be David Attenborough. The guy is a living walrus.

No wonder the Browns OL is so bad in 2019, hope he returns to CIeveland

Just for everyone's info. Coach Wylie is back. He's the oline coach for the Ottawa Redblacks in the CFL
This man is such an inspiration - He has absolutely, unequivocally given his entire life to his passion.
And that passion is food.
What a legend!
Thanks for everything you've ever done for the Cleveland Browns Bob. We love you.
You can tell he loves what he does.

My coach: we are ganna do hills for the rest of practice
Also my coach:
He's got a job in CFL now - Ottawa! Keeps on doin what he loves.
I was hoping he’d come to sask but Jason Shivers got our defence looking good
He just needs to strengthen and improve our Redblacks Oline that has been brutal in the last couple games.
"Football has done a lot for my life, period." Is my favorite part.
He was our oline coach this year at Hamilton High in Chandler Arizona
We’d love to have you back in Chicago next year Mr. Wylie.
Cherish this guy while he's still alive
Some team should get this man what a legend
This guy is impractical, eccentric, and archaic -- and I would die for him
Mr. Wylie is the Candy Samples of offensive line coaches. God bless you Bob!!!
