दादुरवा मोर बोले पपीहा बोले, माई
कौन देस से आवेंगे श्याम!
देखो री घन गरजें,
मोरा जियरवा भावें!

There is a saying in our *_samskriti_* that when rain-bearing clouds come-when *_shraavaNa_* comes-then ShriKrishna is on his way too. This _chhota khayal_ expresses that emotion of happiness and elation-the singer asks Mother Nature, ‘from where, o where, will Shyaam come?’
