not bad guys i love my 07 ss she just hit 100k last week,they grow up so fast...
all black,back debadged,on some coils dont remember brand, NO STICKERS,very similar 18" rims to the red car in video but black,zzp stage 2 kit , full GM exhaust,short throw shifter,angle eye headlights,cant forget the AEM cai
and then o2 sensor exlpoded destroying my first cat so replacing with new zzp stainless steel 3 inch downpipe into gmpp catback
red one sounded da best

Pretty sure i've met these guys at cars and copters this yr. My ss t/c is tuned at 21psi with all Hahn products and I'm at 292whp/340wtq. Mine was also tuned on a dyno unlike the sedan so my numbers are real lol

only 26 lbs difference. haha

The red one sounds like a beast. haha. The black one is the fastest though. Over 400. DAMN. One of the most interesting things about cobalts is there is only a 26 lbs difference between the coop and the sedan. Also i doubt the stick any faster than a automatic and if it is its not much better on gas though. haha

GM only had a stage 1 upgrade for the SS/TC but they did do a stage 1 through 3 on the SS/SC.

I refer the sound of a supercharger as "zwingggg". There's nothing like it. Take a wrecked Cobalt SS, and take the drive train, convert is to rear wheel drive, and put it into a Vega GT.

Just as an fyi they only made 474 2009 cobalt ss 4door sedans. Which makes it a little more rare then you think.

I have a 07 Cobalt LS and I was wondering on what I should do to it along the lines of turbo supercharge intake cams gauges and engine swap. Any advice please let me know! Thanks a ton :)
Trade it in and get an SS. It comes supercharged and it will save you a ton of money rather than trying to add in all that on its own. 2007 and up is turbo, and 2006 is Supercharged.
Ignore the other guy. Build your car, dont buy it. Just start out with an exhaust, intake and tune. then just work your way up from there.
Braxton Whitney 2005 - 2007 were supercharged, 2008 - 2010 were turbo'd
Lookits zTral If it's a manual, use a saab exhaust manifold and turbo off an LK9 in the newer 2.0 9-3 turbos, all the crap that goes with it, get a tune from ZZP to get you on the road. Swap struts/springs/swaybars with SS/TC stuff, oh, actually I think your hubs are different.... Everyone else is right man, go find an ION redline, cheap way in, or save and get a nice SS/TC

You guys know what ur doing they look great! I just bought a 2006 ss red, and the little emblem on the top of the shift knob is gone so I want to just get a new knob but im not sure if just a universal one will fit...can I just take off the reverse mechanism? or is that not possible?

Best bet is to not dump money in a 4 banger. Sell it and get an 03 cobra

My dad has the turbo ss cobalt and I smoked it! There is a black one with a dump and intake and I beat him! I'm not saying they are slow. But the owners are the ones who give them bad reps! And they under steer all over the place

another rice hook... and change perfect wheels to.. well those..stock, fastest of the 3.. and should be the fastest even with their mods they seemed to have very little knowledge about... try a dyno one day... just over 300hp won't have you at 400lbft.. more like 350.. c'mon man don't guess... at least he left the lights alone..turbo one will be the quietest and best sounding.. but the supercharger whine sounds better than... that small dog bark turbo BOV... nice video though. now go find the people who have been on dynos..

performance great, the fucking tow hook, ricer hook that is.. hanging a stuffed animal from it.. all this is honda crowd stuff... c'mon now. granted it's a part of the compact scene, but it's not one of them... WHY... ahhhhhhhh.. whatever.. i should keep watching... hopefully gets better.
