  • The pole barn is almost finished! This video is about the finishing touches, trim and ridge cap. Once we save up enough money, we will pour concrete underneath and close in 3 sides. Im also thinking of adding 2 cupolas to the top.

Love it..."very cold February 1st 48 degrees"! :) That would be tshirt and shorts working weather here in Minnesota on Feb 1st! Nice work!

You had the same condition as I where the rake/gable steps back. I couldn't figure out a proper detail either so I ended up eliminating the step by extending to a single rake/gable which was probably better in my case. Maybe you silicone the heck out of that, then cover it with a little extra metal set in silicone to prevent the uv from ruining the exposed silicone joint.

Do not screw down your roofing sheets for that last part. Slide trim under roofing, then screw down.
      Thanks, nice video

Where did you get the metal support frames for the roof?

There’s a gentleman in our town that builds them from scratch. They are called steel pole barn trusses, I believe they are made all over the country too.

I do not see one pole in this video I see a lot of timber posts only.
